Chapter 5: Danica's big mouth

"Don't ever believe a single word coming out from my little sister's big mouth."

"Wala naman siyang sinasabi ha. Wala pa kaming decent conversation."

"Mamaya. Pagkatapos ng party. Pag nasa room na kayo. I'm sure she'll be telling you..."

"Telling me what?"

"Nothing. Forget it."

Ang gulo ng taong 'to. Ano ba problema neto?

After all the dancing and stuff, I finally got to take my heels off. Grabe talaga. Hindi ako mahilig magheels. Peste kase. Ba't pa ako naging maliit.

Time to sleep. Wait. Wala akong damit. Crap.

"Borrow Danica's sleeping clothes. She has a million of it."

And you're a mind-reader too?

"Sure. Goodnight, Myks."

"Don't believe anything that Danica will say."

"What are you so paranoid about?"

He sighed. "Wala. Sige, tulog na."

And he gave me a hug. A very tight one, I can't even breathe. "I missed you bes"

And then he's off. Anong problema nun?

"It fits you perfectly. Well, a little big. That's odd."

Sa liit ko ba namang ito, at sa laki mo, ba't ka pa nagtataka?

"Okay lang. So, let's sleep?"

"Really? It's only 11 o'clock. So early." While curling her hair.

Early? What?

"Okay. Anong gusto mong pag-usapan?" This is not the best idea I could ever suggest. With all those remiders that Myko said a while back.

"You and Myko."

Here we go!

"What about us?"

"Hindi ba talaga naging kayo?"

"No." What? Ew. Me and Myko? Ew. Ew. Ew.

"Ayaw mo sa kanya?"

Crap. How can I answer this?

"Hindi naman sa ayaw. Ang awkward lang. He's like a brother to me."

"Pero masaya ka pag magkasama kayo nun?"

"Well, except nung last months niyo dito, oo. Super."

"You like him."

What?

"Danica!"

"What? You look good together naman e. Bakit ba pinapahirapan mo pa brother ko?"

"What are you saying?" Yes, 'cause honestly, I'm confused.
