We went to check on my house, hoping it will be bug free. Turns out it's the same. Tin can feel the listening device placed everywhere in the house.
Thankfully we have a safe communication channel that allows us to talk freely to each other.
"Why do you think he suddenly feels the need to put these things here now?" I said in my mind.
"I'm not sure, but he probably suspects something."
"I think it's time for you to confront him about everything."
"I already planned it, after our wedding."
"After the wedding? Why?"
Tin didn't answer me.
"Another plate, babe?" he asked me with his normal voice.
We were in the middle of our dinner. Since I left the hospital, dr. Jill gave me some meds that not only stop my nausea but also increase my appetite. Now I can have three plates every meal and still don't feel full.
"Ugh... I feel bad..." I said with a sad tone.
"What? What? Did you feel any discomfort?" said Tin with a worried face.
"No... I mean... If I eat too much I'm afraid I'll get really fat, but if I don't eat more, I feel bad for the babies. What if I didn't give them enough food and make them starve?"
Tin laughed hearing my dilemma.
"Hey! don't laugh, this is a serious problem for me."
"Ok, Ok, I'm sorry..." said Tin "It's not only you the one who eats, it's also the twins, if you eat three plates, technically you only eat one because the other two goes to the twins, so... you still eat the same amount you usually eat."
That explanation is so stupid but somehow also makes sense. I'm eating not only for myself but also for the babies. 3 people eat more than 1 plate, of course, that totally makes sense.
"Then give me one more."
He smiled and said "Right away."
The next morning, we were going to the bridal designer who made our tuxedo for the wedding. I was so afraid the tuxedo we ordered a few months ago wouldn't fit my fat pregnant body now.
The designer laughed when I told him my worries.
"Most males don't have baby bumps during pregnancy, our body also doesn't change much. Just look at me, my body still looks the same after 3 pregnancies."
The Omega designer pointed out his slender body to me.
I'm just grinning as an answer.
Indeed, it turns out the tuxedo fits just fine on my body. We chose a matching white and red tuxedo for our wedding. Mine is a white tuxedo featuring delicate red accents along the collar and sleeve cuffs, while Tin has the opposite, red tuxedo with white accents on the collar and sleeve. Red and white are the colors for weddings in The Old Value. My parents insist even though we make our wedding private, at least we still have to respect The Old Value. Meanwhile I just hope I won't look like some countries' flags, ready to be hoisted.
While we had our final fitting, the news on TV at the bridal shop were talking about how secretive our wedding is and how it makes people even more curious.
The designer then talks about how a lot of people come to this shop to ask for a sneak peak for our tuxedos but they stay silent about it.
They need to, after all, we pay them to keep everything a secret. The meaning of a private wedding is when people didn't know much about it. We are so not wanted for gossip and fashion news reporting and criticizing about our choice of outfit and decoration on our wedding before the wedding even happens.
