Leaving

I wake up in my new room. I look out the window and see it's only early morning. I get on my new cloths the castle has gave me. I tuck in my ears and tail before walking out. Walking a few yards away and I already see my brother, guarding the gates. "Hey Collin!" I say giving him a highfive. "Hey Faith! I wanna know, are you free tomorrow?" He asks, I nod. "I wanna get to know you, since you know... We never met each other prier to this..." He says kind of sadly. "Yeah, okay!" I smile and walk out the gate. "Where are you going?!" He shouts. "...we'll talk about that tomorrow." I say behind me. I walk far enough for people won't see me, and shift. My new brown fur sways in the wind, and I dash. When a shift I can smell and see better. I run dodging all the rocks and logs. I smell the air for any deer, I catch one. I don't kill any animals, I take from another animal. I'm very strong in this form, stronger then most. I smell fresh blood, and head towards it. It's in the meadow not to far from here. I jump out the meadow ready to attack, but i see a huge group of people. Probably hunters. I freeze when I see Evan, and he sees me. I slowly back up, he point at me and all the other people. I hear him say 'kill it' I gasp a dash as fast as I can towards the castle. I see a arrow land next to me, I run faster. A arrow hits my shoulder. I whimper in pain, so much I shift back to human. I pull out the arrow. "AH!" I scream. I hear foot steps, and Evan pops out the trees. "Faith are you okay?!" He screams crouching down to me. "Yeah..." I say trying to get up. "Okay..." He says helping, he starts at my shoulder. "What happen?" He ask looking at the arrow on the ground. "Uh I.... Fell? Yeah let's go with that." I nod at my excuse. "Why is there my arrow on the floor next to you?" He ask my eyes widen. "You shot that arrow?! It hit me!" I shout. "Oh I'm sorry! Why are you out here?" He ask in a panic. "I was doing... Things?" I say more as a question. "Okay?" He says not believing me.

We made it back at the castle. One of the first people I see is Collin, but he doesn't look happy. "Hey Collin!" I say smiling. "Hey..." He says frowning. "I-I'm leaving." He says looking at me and Evan. "What?" I say confused. "I'm leaving Phoenix Drop." He says hugging me then Evan. "I was assigned to protect the lords daughter of Bright Port..." He says sadly. Tears threaten to fall, I finally met my brother and now he has to leave. "O-okay..." I say walking away not wanting for people to see me. I go in my room and sit down. Why me...
