*Amy’s Point of View*
It was freezing outside as Amarie and I approached Liam’s hotel. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. But that wasn’t what put me in shock. Girls. Screaming, singing, crying girls. What the hell? They couldn’t possibly be here for Liam’s band. But I read several signs (Liam Ten Inch, Zayn Rock Me, and Niall You Light Up My World) that proved otherwise.
Liam’s band wasn’t just some up and coming band that used to play in a garage. They were pretty famous, so it appeared. How did I not know this?
“Can you believe this?” I asked Amarie, as we pushed our way through the crowd of girls and to the back ally, per Liam’s instructions. “Actually, it doesn’t surprise me.” She said.
“What?? Are you kidding?” We were in the ally now, going around to the back kitchen doors. I was grateful Liam didn’t give stupid, hard to read directions.
She shrugged. “Well, a guy that hot has to have fans, in a band or not. Besides you mentioned that girls would walk up to him and talk to him on the streets. If he’s recognized that much he must be pretty big.” Everything she said actually made sense. Once in the kitchen, we explained to one of the staff members why we were here and showed her the note Liam had left. She let us into the lobby.
“But what I don’t understand,” I said, as we stepped into the elevator and pressed the twelve level button. “Is how we didn’t recognize him from posters or anything.” She touched up her lip gloss as she said “Well, we don’t exactly get out very much. We’re pretty busy. I mean, I don’t even remember the last time I was on my Facebook account.” I was a little disappointed that Liam didn’t tell me. Did he think it would change my opinion of him? Whatever the reason I suppose I couldn’t judge him, since I hadn’t told him about my singing.
The elevator stopped and the doors opened. This is it, I thought as we stepped off. The hallway was wide and the carpet was red, with a tan colored pattern printed in it. The lights, however, were dim. The setting reminded me of the Titanic movie.
As we got closer and closer to the hotel room, more butterflies filled my stomach. I was excited to see Liam. I was going to dance with him, weather he wanted to or not. I loved dancing.
“You okay?” Ama said suddenly. I shook my head. “Yeah I’m great.” I said. .My head was getting dizzy.
We came to room number 107. Liam and his band mates were on the other side of that door, waiting for us. What if they didn’t like me? What if they thought I was bad for Liam? Oh god. I tried to remember how to breathe as I knocked on the door.
Instead of an answer we heard a voice from inside call out “It’s open!” Amarie and I exchanged a look of confusion. She opened the unlocked door and we stepped inside. Before I had a chance to take the scene in, I felt something hit my chest. I yelped and looked at the ground in time to see a nerf gun dart fall to the floor. What the?
“Yes! I got it!” I looked up and saw two of the most attractive men I have ever seen, including movie stars and magazines. One was waving a fist of accomplishment in the air. He had dark hair which was in loose curls. He was wearing a plain white t-shirt, skinny jeans and several bracelets. The other, sitting on a chair, was blond with dark brown roots. He was wearing a blue tank top and shorts and his head was thrown back, laughing at the fact the curly haired one shot me in the boob. Both were holding nerf guns.
“Nice shot, lad!” the blond one said.
I looked at Amarie who was looking at me as if to say what the hell did we just get ourselves into? A door opened and Liam stepped out, finishing buttoning up a black shirt. He shook his head at the other two boys. When he saw us, his face paled.
