**Elena’s POV**

Fred George and Rae were waiting for me a few days later by the lake a few days later.

“What’s going on, guys? I have essays to finish.” I asked already knew what they were going to say.

“He’s too old for you!” Fred started. I rolled my eyes.

“He’s go a point,” Rae started but I cut her off.

“Don’t you go dare there, Rae!” I snapped. “Fred you just shut up for once. Your mother was two years younger than your father and it the same with my parents. Age is just a number.” She flinched.

George got mad. “Don’t talk to them that way. She’s your family and we’re your friends!”

“She doesn’t seem to think we’re family. Friends? Don’t make me laugh!” I laughed dryly. “Friends don’t jump on someone like this. Friends support each other in what ever decisions they make. They are happy that their friends found someone who makes them happy.” Tears started flowing. “You are not my friends.” I turned and ran off.

After I stopped crying, I walked through the crowd of people waiting to get in the Great Hall. Nothing was going right. I saw Angelina with Fred, George, and Rae. I saw Angelina look right at me and dismissed me as if I were nothing. I looked around and saw Oliver walking toward me.

“You look alone, Lena,” he said.

“I feel alone.” He hugged me. “Oliver, I need to tell you something.” He looked at me. I took a look at Fred and had seen Angelina kiss him like it was nothing. Fred looked happy. “I’ll go to the dance with you.” I smiled.

“Thanks. I’m going to eat dinner quick then go work on some Quidditch things would you like to join me?” His voice held happiness.

“Yes,” I smiled. “I would love too.” The doors to the Great Hall opened and Oliver led me to a spot. We were by ourselves. I could feel Fred, Rae, and George’s eyes all on me. It took awhile for Oliver to realize that they were staring

“What’s their problem?” He asked watching them. I sighed and didn’t answer. I thought back to the fight I had with Fred and George.  I shook my head.

“They don’t like the idea of us being together,” I sighed. I really liked Oliver a lot.

“You’ll be my girlfriend?” He smiled. I nodded and he hugged me again.

Rae finally walked over and sat down next to me a few moments later. “You’re right and you’re my sister. I know I haven’t been acting like it. I’m sorry.” I hugged her.

“I already forgave you.” Soon George followed Rae by apologizing too. Fred with Angelina following sat down too.

“We’re sorry, Lena,” Fred started.

“You’re right. We should be happy for you,” George continued

“We just hope you can forgive us and be our best mate again?” Fred finished. I nodded. They both hugged me.

I was whole again. I had my sister and friends next to me. I wasn’t alone anymore. Maybe I never was. Maybe I had been doubting them maybe even myself. I don’t know but I do know I’m certainly not alone.
