Version 1.
Boy, you're not her type
She'll make you broke in a heartbent
You'll be so overwhelmed
But who can bame you, you're only human after all
You should have stayed at home
lying on your sofa
Indulging your sweet tooth
Guess that's love
Well I wish you the worst
Cuz' she is pertect with me
You can find someone else
Someone who can love you
Version 2.
When you're only human
And you're always broke
And overwhelmed
Forever and ever and always
And you're just a sleepyhead,
With a slight sweet tooth,
I can't wish you the worst
When the dress you sent
Looks perfect on me
Guess that's love
Maybe I should have stayed at home

A/N: probably way too much context on these two poems: I wrote these in April of 2023 for an assignment where I had to write a poem using 10 song titles from the same artist. Let's see who knows which artist I used. Throughout both versions there is a total of 12 songs from this artist. I spent a good 2 hours trying to find version 1 because I had to go through every single messages gc and through 2 discord servers to find it since for some reason I did not keep a physical copy 😔 Which one do yall think is better??? I wrote version 2 first then version 1 and thought it was better so I went with that one but then we had to pair up with someone (randomly) and I got paired with someone I did not like at all and he thought the poem was about a straight relationship and I ain't about to correct him in front of the entire class and say "oh yeah no it's actually about lesbians" 😭 The boy isn't her type fr 😭
