We arrived at the end of memory like rivers that reach the sea
A vast expanse awaited the end of memory
You just need the key
For the end may just be the beginning
As memories flow
Into the vast unknown
The end of memory down every road
You just need to decipher the code
There's a lifeboat in the distance
It's hard to spot
Just a blur of existence
Give it a shot
It gets smaller and smaller
Till there's nothing left
But a scholar
So bereft
You float out into the wide ocean before you
No hope in sight
There is no clue
Only the dead of night
Dawn rushes in and new hope it brings
The bustle and noise
A smile appears as a bird sings
Where is it coming from, all of these joys?
The memory is lost
But new ones will come
There is a cost
But there's no need to be glum
The sun has risen
New memories arise
You just need to listen
And see past the disguise
