Chapter 47

As the day had passed, it had been able to rebuild and start a new relationship, while others had faced the consequences of their actions. A storm had blown over the village and the land as everyone sought shelter from the elements.

Loak, "The storm will calm down soon. It will be best if we take shelter here."

Tsireya "Do you think everyone else back at the village will be okay?"

Awumia, "They shall be fine. The homes and medical hut have been built to deal with storms like this."

Loak, "This cave will be a good shelter for us, as it will keep the wind and snow away from us. I shall start a fire. I can look around the cave for any materials."

Tsireya "A fire sounds good."

Awumia, "Tsireya and I can help you, and we can also look for something to eat, as well. We need to keep our strength up and eat, too. We don't know how long we will be in here until the storm ends or slows down a bit."

Loak "Let's do that." The trio had started collecting the materials they would need at the moment. Loak had started a fire while Awumia and Tsireya were preparing a meal from some of the food they would be using.

Loak, "The fire has been started. It will take some time for it to get warm in here." Awumia and Tsireya had nodded their heads at Loak's words. As Loak got up to make sure the storm's winds didn't blow inside and put out the fire, making everyone cold.

Tsireya " Loak, is everything okay? You seem very worried."

Awumia " Yes, your tail and ears give it away."

Loak, " I wonder if Jake and Neytiri have used this opportunity today to try to win over Iva. As knowing them as my parents, they will not let a family member go that easily after what happened to me."

Tsireya, " Your parents do deeply regret what all those years ago, but they have yet to say anything towards you. As I think they are too proud and ashamed of themselves, for their actions back then."

Awumia, " They had disowned you in front of many, believing in the lies of others. So did the rest of your family and friends. If they wish to be in your life along with Iva, they need to apologize and mean it."

Loak, " That will be hard for them to do. Maybe my mom will come around, but my father is Toruk Makto, a war hero of Pandora. I don't think he will be saying sorry that easily."

Tsireya " Then if they don't, maybe they don't deserve to be in your life. The great mother had watched over you all these years and helped you become the warrior and navi you are today."

Tsireya " I think with Iva being your daughter, she will give them a challenge."

Loak " Yes, that is my girl, even though she is not of my blood, she is still my child." The three adults had laughed as they all could agree with loak.

Awumia, " The food is ready. Come and eat." Loak soon sat down as tsireya had passed him, and the trio ate their food.

Awumia, " You know, Loak, many more navi will be asking when you will be taking a mate. Seeing how we have many guests here, there will be many suitors hoping to see if you pick a mate this year."

Loak " don't count yourself out, awumia, many might ask me, your mate, and tsireya mughg find one as well."

Tsireya " A mate."

Awumia " Well, we are all old enough to take mates, and seeing how we are all gathered here, it will not stop all the questions being asked."

Tsireya, " I have been asked by some of my clan elders when I take a mate and start a family of my own."

Loak: " Do you wish for a mate and a family of your own?"

Tsireya " Yes, I do, but right now I'm trying to become a better person, as I don't think I will be a good mate."

Loak " Tsireya, don't count yourself out. We all have made mistakes in the past, good and bad, but we all deserve to be loved."

Awumia " Yes, I have seen some change in you as well. I do think we all might find the ones we are meant to be with in the end."Tsireya had a smile a bit, the kind words from Loak and awumia had made her happy, but there was another feeling she was having as well.

Back at the village

Iva " Grandmother, what do you think about tsireya?" Iva had been helping Freyya and Moat, as the two tsahik had looked at her.

Mo'at, " I think she's a good girl who has been trying to live up to her parents' ideas of her. She and your father had been dating when they were younger, but that all ended when Loak was falsely accused and exiled. I did see her miss him and wish he were back. She never courted anyone after Loak left. It seems like she still might love him."

Freyya " Many might say she doesn't deserve him, for turning her back to him. I have seen the young lady, and she seems to be true to change. There is also awumia, if we don't forget, she seems to have the same relationship with Loak as well."

Mo'at, " I have noticed that as well, and it seems like tsireya and awumia have become close, with each other as well, along with developing another relationship with Loak as well."

Iva " Well, I hope they all find some happiness here, as I have talked with my dad, and said he should give love a chance again."

Mo'at " Lo'ak giving love a chance that will lead to many wondering who he will choose as a mate at the end."

Freyya " We can't decide for them and have to wait and see what happens next for them, only the great mother would know who everyone chose in the end."

Iva " I have a feeling the choice that might be will change the course of many lives." Freyya and Mo'at had looked at Iva as she went back to doing her work, even though they had the same feeling that whatever was going on between the three, life was going to change majorly. None of them seems to know the answer right now; it was only Eywa herself and life decisions that will lead to whatever future may lie for many lives on Pandora.
