CAROLINE

"Oh my gosh! Hanna, You really didn't have to give me these earings." In front of me, I was holding the most beautiful earings. They were diamond studded hoops.

"Of course, I did, Caroline. You're way more than a cousin to me. And besides, Caleb kept on nagging on about how we didn't give you anything and you're leaving next Monday!" The word cousin, hit me like a rock. I never allowed myself to be called her cousin and I wouldn't, even if she didn't know the truth.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Her voice struck me and I just shook my head.

"Oh nothing. I'm just amazed, that's all" I smiled and she looked convinced for now. "Thank you so so much." I hugged her pretty hard.

"Oh Care. I love you so much."

"Love you too, sis. And thank you for letting me stay here. I mean, if it weren't for this Wedding that I'm organising, I would still be stuck at home in Manhattan." It was true. I mean I always wanted to come to Chicago, and now here I was, that too for a wedding, I was planning.

"Anytime! Anyway, have you done all your packing to move back to Mystic Falls."

"Almost! I'm so excited. I mean I never thought I would return to my home town." Then I noticed my mistake. Hanna looked down, sad. Hann was 4 and a half years younger than me. But she had seen so much for a 22 year old. She loved Rosewood, the town she was bought up in, however, she had vowed never to go back. She and her friends, Spencer, Aria, Emily and Allison were normal high school kids until one day, they started being tormented by someone who went by the name of -A. That was a year after Ali was murdered. -A knew everything about them. Every secret, every lie, started to unveil. The mystery of who supposedly killed Allison, had taken over their lives. Then when Ali returned, they had more questions that had to be answered. How was she alive? Why? It wasn't normal but she had Caleb. Heartbreak and betrayal were part of their daily routine but they were madly in love and truly are soulmates. When they finally found out who was the stalker, Cece Drake, the girls went off to college. After Hanna graduated, she married Caleb and they have just been married for 6 months but life was now perfect for them. And who planned their wedding? Moi!

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"It's ok." She cut me off and smiled. "So, I heard you screaming on the phone about two hours ago. Who was the 'bloody stalker'?"

"It's probably that guy obsessed with me who keeps trying to get me to notice him."

"That might not be true Caroline, he was probably a nice guy who just called a wrong number."

"Oh I know he wasn't."

"Did you really? Not everyone will break your heart Care. I suspect that the 'so called stalker' was your soulmate." The brunette teased me.

"Seriously?"

"What, your the one who said that you'll find your soulmate one day."

"Not a wrong number!" She chuckled.

"As you say." I smiled.

Hanna was always the one to make me smile. I wished never to lose her. Little did I know that life had other plans.

I still couldn't believe my eyes. Was she seriously here? She was dancing with Bonnie. How did Bonnie know her? But seeing her made me lose my cool. I clenched my jaws and made a fist.

"Easy Brother, you don't wanna make a scene here." I heard Damon say. But I didn't care. She had no right to return in my life after me finally moving on.
