STEFAN

Three weeks had passed since the wedding and Jo and Alaric had just got back from their honeymoon. I was in office where I had just gotten a new case filed by someone called Hanna Marin, a name which sounded familiar, who had started being stalked by someone by the name of A.D. She and her friends had gone through this before with someone by the name of A. After that their lives were normal, or so they thought until A.D. came into the picture. Hanna said they'd figured out that it was Kai Parker, who also went by the name of Archer Dunhill. They didn't have much proof apart from a video clip of him breaking into Hanna's house. It was my job to Prosecute Kai. I realised that this would be a turning point in my career and I hoped that I could win the case and then will be able to open my own law firm.

"Steffy bear, where are you?" Ugh, of course Damon would call me the most annoying name. The five year old version of Caroline had given this name to me and Damon would still call me it occasionally.

"Damon I'm here, in my room." Wasn't that obvious?

Damon appeared just outside the door, "Steffy Bear, can you like, go chill somewhere else? Elena's coming over and I'd really just be alone with her tonight."

Here we go again.

"Fine, just don't mess up the house and also, DO NOT CALL ME STEFFY BEAR AGAIN."

"Okay... Steffy bear."

"You know, I think I'd rather just stay here."

"Okay, okay, I won't call you that again. Now can you leave."

I smirked. "Yes."

CAROLINE

I was sitting on the couch trying to get through this boring Ass film until I heard a knock on my door. As I walked towards the door, I saw Stefan smiling through the window. He always looked so good, it made my heart ache. If you asked a few weeks ago, I'd tell you that it was only friendship between Stefan and me but now, I knew there was something else. I had concluded that I was attracted to my best friend, there was no backing out now. But he was so bloody hot, of course anyone would be attracted to him so I had would always tell myself that it meant nothing and he probably didn't feel the same way.

I opened the door and Stefan walked in. "Damon and Elena took over the place again and I was hoping that I could-"

I grabbed his arm and pulled him in. "Oh come in." He chuckled.

"Thank god. I was bored as fuck. Now you can entertain me."

"How excatly do I entertain you Caroline Forbes?"

I stood thinking for a moment and Stefan just smiled while, shaking his head. Look, I'm not crazy okay!

Then something struck my head, "You have to do whatever I tell you to while you're here. You'll stay up all night in case I need anything." I smirked.

His smile vanished, "Hey, that's not fair! I'm not gonna be your slave." I chuckled. "Fine, I'll do it on one condition."

Now it was my turn to worry. "What condition?"

"You have to stay awake with me, all night." He smirked.

I stood still for a moment. How bad could it be, not sleeping for one night. I mean Stefan was here and we could do all sorts of fun things. "Fine." He smiled in his Achievement and I just rolled my eyes.
