Why Arroth Aliens Are to Be Feared

Okay, this is a short explanation but there is SCIENCE involved so pay attention kids!

Arroths are very human-like. Similar body structure, social structure, brain structure, etc. They would be almost human if they didn't have this difference: bioradiation.

It's a completely natural superpower, and most of pure Arroth descent have some form of it. Consider this though; it is literally radiation. And they have total control of their own internal power source.

Let me science things up here: a Sievert is a measure of damage done to a human body. One or two Sv of radiation, you'll get ill, but you'll be feeling fine in a couple weeks. But every Sv past one, the chance of death in the time frame of 30 days goes up by 15%. At around 6 Sv, you might as well accept your fate, as the death rate is at 90-100% (source: http://m.wisegeek.org/how-much-radiation-can-the-human-body-safely-receive.htm). Assuming Arroth bioradiation is comprised of gamma rays(which need to be held back by a good amount of lead), and assuming they have control over Sievert levels, any Arroth could do anything to you as a human, up to a death from internal bleeding or immune system failure. Even just by their presence alone. That's why large groups of them would pose serious threats to humans.

Taking Derek's transformation in Dance or Die into consideration, that means they either have Sievert control or an unknown property to their radiative powers.

Bioradiation also holds heat energy transfer control, also seen in Dance or Die when Siron burns a police officer's face by channeling energy to his hands.

Putting blast control and radiation blades(which would cauterize the wounds they cause!) into the equation, an Arroth could either give you a slow, painful death or pretty much vaporize or incinerate you.

And the saga of how my own creations horrify me continues.
