I went to sleep last night not feeling to well. I felt as if I was coming down with a cold or something. I sat up in my bed and when I stopped I felt a little light headed. I let my head settle and then I shook it off like it didn't even happen and then I stood up out of bed and stretched. All of a sudden my door flew open and my sister Dallas ran in squilling and clapping her hands and jumping up and down in excitement. I looked at her like she was crazy.

"What is it sis?" I asked trying to hold back a yawn and also had my eyebrow cocked. She looked at me like I was suppose to have remembered something important.

"It's Friday. 'REMEMBER?" She said putting 'remember' in air quotes. I took a moment to scurry through my mind to try to think about what I was suppose to remember. Then it hit me like a brick hit me in the face when I felt a sudden blush come across my face and butterflies overwhelmed my insides.

"Oh my god! It's my date with Allen tonight!" I said as I copied what Dallas had done when she had burst through my door just a little bit ago. I was overwhelmed with excitement about the thought of going out with Allen tonight. Then my smile turned into a frown as I thought about the most important thing. "But I don't have anything to wear tonight." I pouted at the fact. I was never the dress up type. I never had a reason to dress up but now I do.

"You are more than welcome to wear anything of mine sis." Dallas said with a welcoming smile on her face. I looked at her feeling better from what she said.

"Awesome! Thanks sis!" I said and gave her a hug. I thought I was going to break her I half at one point.

"Ok uh sis... I can't breathe." Dallas said through the little breath she had to say it with. I quickly let go of her. She smiled at me at how I was acting and then she turned to walk out of my room to go get ready. "I'll see you downstairs." She said and then walked out.

I quickly got my clothes on for school. It was Friday and the last day of school for the week. I threw on a pair of blue jeans and a t-shirt and my boots. I straightened my hair and then put my form of makeup on which was only black eyeliner. I looked presentable enough to endure today through school. All I could think about was my date with Allen tonight and I can't wait. I gabbed my jacket and my phone and then I headed down the stairs and I made it just in time to hear a car horn outside with the radio blarring. I knew that was Kasha here to pick me up.

"Dallas Kasha is here!" I yelled and then made my way out to claim the front passenger seat.

~*~ Allen's POV

I was up and out of bed earlier this morning than usual. I was up an hour earlier because of the excitement that it was not only Friday but the night I get to take Carrie Emerson out on our date tonight. The thought of being able to be with her alone and get to know her more was pleasing to my taste. I know one thing though, I'll need to go out to hunt before picking her up. That is my one fear of being around her. I will always have the fear of not being able to control myself around her. I don't want to harm her and I can't let that happen. If I'm going to be around her I will need to teach myself to be stronger and teach myself to be able to control my thirst. Her scent is very alluring and very hard to be near without wanting to bite but she is special. She's to special to my being to let her be harmed in such a way.

I was already ready for school now where was my brother? That idiot better not have slept in today or else his ass is going to run to school. He really needs to get his own damn car fixed.

"Chill out brother. You forget I can read your thoughts." Lance walked into the kitchen smiling. You could definitely tell he was the player type.
