"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!" I yelled as I jumped up in a panic in my bed. My heart was racing and my body was trembling. I looked around and it didn't take me long to realize that I wasn't in my own bed. I was in a different room in a different house. This place I did not recognize. My nerves began to take over my own body, and then I hear a knock at the door. I was hesitant to even answer for a moment.
"Uh.... come in." I said softly still freaked by the crazy dream I had. The door opened slowly and then Kasha walked in and Dallas in behind her. I looked at them confused and my mind was still trying to consume all this change along with the terror from the worst dream I've had in a while. It felt so real as if it actually happend. Dallas had a worried look on her face as she walked slowly over toward me and then sat down beside me on the bed.
"Hey sis. Are you okay?" She asked as if I was going to scold her for something. "We heard you scream." I didn't say anything for a short moment and then I slightly smiled.
"Yeah...uh..I... I'm fine." I stuttered as I looked at her and Kasha both. "I just had a bad dream that's all. Kind of freaked me out."
"What was it about?" Dallas asked as she put her hand on mine that was laying across my stomach.
"I was walking in the woods on a full moon night. I guess I was following someone, I don't really remember, but it was dark and only the moon light glowed along the forest floor. I do remember hearing voices but I couldn't tell who's they were. Then I lost track of them and I found myself alone. Everything got quiet and it was quite scary. I heard sticks snapping and shortly after I heard deep, beastly growls and I remember seeing two yellowish golden eyes glowing in the moon light and I got scared and ran and it ran after me whatever it was. All I know it was big enough where I could hear the violent sounds of its feet hitting the ground as it was running after me. The last thing I remember before waking up was being violently tackled to the ground and me screaming out in pain, then everything went black and that's when I woke up and screamed." I said in tears as I kept remembering it like it had actually haoppend, but I knew that it was just a silly nightmare. Dallas looked up at Kasha, who had a dazed look on her face as she just slightly nodded.
"It's okay Carrie. It was just a nightmare. You have nothing to worry about." Kasha said with a smile on her face. I looked at her and then at Dallas with a feeling that they were keeping something from me.
"I know, but it just..... it just felt so real." I said as I looked down at my hands with a squinted look. A part of me was telling me this whole thing was strange but who am I kidding? I'm not like Kasha. I'm not witch who can see things from the future or so much as read people's minds. I'm probably just being stupid thinking I just know somethiing. I sighed and then looked back at Kasha. "Where am I?"
"We are at my Uncle Travis's house. You spent the night here with me, remember?" Kasha said like she was covering up something with a lie. But I went with it anyway. I didn't want to make a fool out of myself for thinking I know everything.
"Yeah.... right." I said and looked out the window to see that the sun was just now peaking over some of the trees out front.
"Think you're up for going to school sis?" Dallas asked.
"Yeah I think I am. I'm feeling pretty good." I said as I started to get out of bed and then I felt a sore sensation in my left side. "Ouch!" I said as I plopped back down on the bed.
"Oh my God, Carrie are you okay?" Dallas said in a panic. I looked at her and nodded in confusion on why my left side was sore as hell. Dallas looked at Kasha as did I and she looked at us and had a funny expression.
