Chapter 92 Parting

3rd POV

Hisame and Shirabe walked beside Ciel, with Hisame holding Ciel's arm around her to help her walk. All the girls were heading to the field for the final match. Their steps were slow, neither in a rush after the events earlier. 

Kirara and Miria were in front of the three, occasionally looking back to check on them. 

Miria: "... I know the pain of losing someone."

Kirara: "Miria..."

Miria: "I'm sad of your choice, but I have no right to decide for you. I know that. Shirabe-chan too. But we will miss you."

Kirara held her close as they walked.

Kirara: "I know. I'm being selfish."

Miria: "And that's how you should be. You're human, Kirara-chan."

Kirara smiled softly.

Kirara: "It's nice to hear that compared to being called a monster."

Miria shook her head, wiping her wet cheeks.

Miria: "I'll look after Shirabe-chan. I promise. But until then, you're stuck with both of us nagging you."

Kirara chuckled.

Kirara: "Wouldn't have it any other way."

As the girls finally made it to the field, they witnessed the clash against the Second Stage Children's power and the Mixi-maxes. 

Kirara: "Wow..."

Miria: "What power..."

Hisame and Ciel: ...

Saru: "Don't get in my way!"

Tenma: "Ugh!"

*Crack*

Ciel: !

Tenma: "Everyone, please!"

Fei: "Leave to us!"

Shindou: "Let's go!"

Fei: "Strongest Eleven Wave!"

Saru: "Block it!!!"

All the members of Feida stepped in front of the goal but...

Feida: "Ugh!"

Yashima: It's in! They turned the score around!

As the crowd cheered, the Mixi-maxes faded.

Shirabe: "How long have they been using it?"

Hisame: "By how exhausted they look, I'd say they've been using it several times already."

Saru: "Guh... not yet... This isn't-"

When Saru got up, he stumbled and fell back down.

Kirara: "What's...?"

Saru: "What? I can't stand? Damn it... That can't be...! If I act like this, the team will fall apart..."

Ciel: "Saru..."

Saru: "It's all over!"

Giris: "Not yet."

Saru: !

Giris: "Saru. It's not over yet."

Meia: "That's right. You can do this, Saru."

Saru: "I don't have any power that you can be proud of anymore..."

Giris: "There's still time left in this match. Let's play together, to the end."

Saru stared at them all, surprised. Giris held out a hand to him.
