Chapter 95 Awaited Moment

Shirabe POV

Finally, the day I always wished has come.

I stared at large sign above the entry.

'Welcome to Shuuya's and Shōko's Wedding Event!'

I smiled softly at the words.

Kirara: "Shirabe! What are you doing? Hurry up and finished your prep up! Shōko-san wants to talk to us in the waiting room!"

"Okay! I'm coming!"

I glanced once more at the sign before jogging over to the waiting room, careful of my dress. I knocked on the door.

"Mom?"

Shōko: "Come in."

I slip through the door and close it before turning to the large vanity. My eyes sparkled seeing Mom all dressed up.

(This is Shōko's dress)

"Mom...! You look beautiful."

Shōko: "Hehe, thank you. You look lovely as well. You too, Kirara-chan."

Kirara: "Thank you!"

Mom carefully adjusted my hair clip.

Shōko: "Did you say hi to grandma and grandpa yet?"

"Yes! Grandpa is excited to walk you down the aisle."

Kirara: "He's definitely going to cry!"

"Kiri-chan!"

Kirara: "What? It's true."

Mom laughed.

Shōko: "Have you seen your dad yet?"

"Not yet. Soon!"

Mom smiled softly.

Shōko: "It's rare. To see you this excited."

I blushed.

"Is that so? I can't help it. I've waited for this day..."

Shōko: "Hehe, not as much as I have."

Kirara: "So... what did you want to talk to us about, Shōko-san?"

Mom smiled at both of us.

Shōko: "Today's a very important day to me. But just because I'm the star, doesn't mean you both have to be in the background."

Kirara and I looked at each other confused. Mom's smile seemed mischievous.

Shōko: "I invited everyone from Raimon to come to the wedding too."

Kirara: "Eh?! You mean like the whole team?"

Shōko: "Haha, yes. Afterall, if not for them, Shu-chan would still be playing Holy Emperor. And... they're our future."
