Being Luke Hemmings' Twin (5sos fanfic)

Part 2

After English was Drama. I said goodbye to Calum and met Ellie out the front of the Drama classroom. We walked in together and noticed the new kid, Michael, sitting all by himself in the corner of the room. I nudged Ellie and nodded over to where Michael was. She nodded and we made our way over. 

"Hey" I smiled, sitting next to him.

"Hi" he said "I'm glad you're in this class too. I don't know anyone except Luke and Calum at this school."

"I understand" Ellie piped up "It's really hard being new"

I laughed "Yeah, lucky you found me or you woulda been totally lost" I said to her. Truth is, if Ellie hadn't transfered to this school in year 5, I woulda been the one that was totally lost. But we don't need to get into that right now. "At least you have me too" I said to Michael, smiling warmly.

He smiled back as the teacher walked in to start the lesson. 

"Ok class, I want you to pair up and do some mirroring exercises" Ms Lawson said. We didn't want to leave Michael out on his first day so him and Ellie went together and I went with Sally. 

The lesson finished and Michael, Ellie and I walked to the usual oak tree together for lunch. 

"That was the worst drama lesson ever!" I exclaimed when we reached Luke and Calum "Remind me never to partner up with Sally Snodgrass again. I think I've heard enough about Luke to last a lifetime!" 

"Well you know, I am pretty amazing" Luke said, winking. 

"Mmhmm, how would you like it if you had to partner up with a guy who only talked about how pretty my eyes are or my lucious hair?" I asked him.

"Yeeahh" Luke said slowly "I'm good thanks"

We ate our lunch and all too soon the bell rang for the end of lunch. It wasn't that bad because I had music next. Music was the best class and what made it even better was that Calum, Luke, Ellie and now Michael were all in that class as well. We got there and found our instruments and started play. I play the guitar and I guess I can sing too. Ellie plays the guitar so we went off to play on our own. We could hear the boys and I must say, they sound great together! Calum and Luke took turns singing lead while Michael did all the harmonies. Calum played the bass while Michael and Luke played guitar. It was wierd to think they didn't even know Michael yesterday because they sounded so good together.

Once the song finished Ellie and I cheered and clapped. The boys looked embarrassed but proud of themselves.

"That was amazing!" Ellie shreaked.

I nodded in aggreement "Yeah, you guys should start a band!" I said excitedly.

"I dunno Char" Luke said nervously.

"Yeah, what if no one likes us?" Calum asked.

"Are you crazy?" Ellie practically yelled "You three are incredible!" 

"The least we could do is try?" Michael piped up. 

Luke looked over at him. "Ok fine" Luke said "Come over my place after school and we'll practise" He said to the boys just before the bell went and we packed up our instruments.

Ellie turned to face me with a sparkle in her eye from excitement. "I am so coming over tonight!"
