Ch.14

"Sure honey! Do you want a break from Chicago?" She asks. I nod rapidly. "Ok, well then go ahead and pack, we leave tomorrow." She explains, and I smile as she heads downstairs.

I spin on my heel and smile at Christina. "Bonjour Paris!" I say. "I can't believe we actually get to go to Paris!" Chrissy squeals.

"Well, go tell your mom and pack and meet me at the airport at 4:30 AM. The flight leaves at six but it takes forever to get through security and luggage check." I explain, and she nods, going through the window.

Finally, I turn to my closet, picking out all my clothes and separating them into four suitcases. Evelyn's business is paying for everything so we can have as much luggage as she wants.

I pack my shoes in one more suitcase and put my laptop, tablet and phone in my carry on bag. After picking out an outfit for tomorrow, I clean up our junky mess. I put the icecream back in my freezer and put my soda in my mini fridge. I finally set my candy atop my dresser and head downstairs.

Mom is grabbing some snacks for the plane because plane food is expensive. "Hey Evelyn." I greet. She turns around, smiling. "Can you grab some bottle Cokes from Walmart?" She asks, handing me her debit card.

"Sure! Anything else?" I ask. "Candy if you want." She replies and I grab my keys and head out in my convertible(my welcome home present from Evelyn)

I pull out and drive to Walmart. I look at my digital clock and its says it's only noon! I drive with my car hood down, sunglasses on.

When I arrive I park right up front, and walk in. I see some familiar faces, but not Tobias. Good. I walk over to the candy and soda aisle and grab pepsi's, coke, mt. Dew and ginger ale.

I go to the box candies and grab one of each(They're only 98cents). I finally head out and grab myself a thing of tic tacs before going to a cashier. I look up too greet her, only to see the face.

Lauren. "Oh hey Lauren, is the money you make when the guys pay you for a good make not enough to live on?" I retort, grabbing my stuff and going to another cash register.

I feel her staring at me from behind. I pay at another register and then head back home. It's 12:45 now. I walk in, hand Evelyn the stuff and grab my phone from the bag.

I see twenty three texts!

Zeke- Where did you go?
Zeke-we're heading to your house
Zeke-Tris what happened?

He sent those one minute ago, so I start looking at my other texts.

Uriah-Tris what happened? Four is crying!
Uriah-Dude WTHeckdid you do to my man?
Uriah-We are coming to your house and figuring this out

I don't want to be bothered so I lock my doors and windows while pulling down the curtains to keep them from seeing I'm in here.

I start reading more texts

Shauna-Christina told me about Four. He's a complete jerk for doing that to you and he will be shunned
Shauna-Do you wanna go shopping?
Shauna-I can't believe that we are going to Paris!
Shauna-I'll pack my whole closet!

I laugh at her texts. Shauna is actually making me feel a little happier about my so-called boyfriend cheating on me with LAUREN of all people.

I click on the next texts.

Lynn-hey.
Lynn-Dang girl! I can't believe four would do that to you. I think I know what it stands for. FOUR girls at a time.
Lynn-R U ok?😕
Lynn-YOU DIDNT TELL ME WE WERE GOING TO PARIS! THANK EVELYN FOR ME!
