The next morning

I groan as my alarm clock plays Lights by Ellie Golding. I slam my hand on it. A warm feeling rises up my throat. I run to the bathroom, holding my hair back. Normal morning sickness. I take a long shower, and change into a plain white t shirt and blue jeans, putting a dark gray robe on over.

I put on some thin gray flats, and pull my wet hair back into a simple ponytail. Another day in the wonderful life of being pregnant. I head downstairs for breakfast, grabbing three bagels and slathering strawberry cream on each of them.

I easily devour the bagels, and drink a glass of V8. Well... the rest of the bottle. I think I satisfied our hunger. "Tris? Great news!" Tobias announces. "No school today! We're snowed in!" He announces. I look out the covered window to see powdery snow packed up at least three feet.

I sigh, flopping onto the couch. "I'm sleeping again." I groan, snuggling up on the couch. I slowly fall asleep in the chilled air of the living room.

---------------------

I wake to people sitting around and on me. A blanket is layed on my legs. Evelyn is sitting at my feet and Christina is sitting under my legs. Uriah is leaning on the arm of the couch by my head.

"When did you guys come?" I groan, sitting up. "We checked the radar, and it's supposed to be nonstop snow for the next two weeks, then we have one month of Christmas break. So we are just gonna stay here for now." Mar explains.

I nod, sitting up. Being two months pregnant now is taking a toll on me, and I still have seven months. "We are watching The Notebook if you wanna stay." Christina shrugs. I pull my feet beneath me,"Sure Chrissy."

I see Tobias hanging out in the kitchen, but brush it off. He must be thinking about something. I turn my attention back to the movie, kicking off my shoes and laying my head in Christina's lap.

It's already towards the end. "What do you want!" The man yells. "I-I don't know!" The girl yells back. I feel tears brim my eyelids, knowing what's coming next.

I feel something wet drop to my head. I look up to see Christina is already crying. I laugh, turning back to the movie, and blinking back my hormonal tears.

I look down from the screen, avoiding crying at the scene, and looking at the time. 12:30. I was asleep that long! "It's so sad!" I hear Chrissy sob from above me. I laugh, adjusting my head on her lap. Christina messes with my tangled hair, braiding and unbraiding it.

I stare at the screen, now it's rolling credits. "What's next?" Zeke groans. I forgot the guys probably didn't like our chick flicks. "FAST AND FURIOUS 7!" Uriah shouts. We all groan. He is obsessed with those movies.

"I think we should watch Transformers. The representation of complex mechanics involving alien life form sounds very intriguing." Will babbles.

"Learn to talk normal! Or atleast a little less Erudite! But ok, we can watch transformers." Al retorts. We all laugh, as Will buys it from on demand. "You owe us six bucks now, that goes on our bill." Evelyn scolds Will.

He pulls out his wallet, and hands the money to, me? "Well thanks, but that's Evelyn's." I toss it at her, sending the thin paper bills flying.

She scurries and picks them up, shoving them in her pocket. "Ok, let's pay attention to the movie." Will says rather loudly, turning our attention away from the flying money.

Someone taps my shoulder. "I need to talk to you Tris." Tobias says rather loudly. I hop up, heading to my room. "What do you want to talk about." I ask. He stares at me blankly, not a glint of expression in his eyes. Then runs towards me like a madman.

I back away from instinct, but not quick enough, and he wraps his hands around my throat. I wheeze. "T-tobi-as! I stutter." "Get rid of Tris, you will be happy Jeanine said." Tobias says in a monotone voice. This isn't him.

I wheeze to breath, and let out a scream. "Get rid of Tris, you will be happy Jeanine said." He repeats. I see black morphing into my vision. "Get rid of Tris, you will be happy Jeanine said," he repeats for the third time.

I stretch a hand towards his face, wanting him back, before everybody rushes into the room. I think I see something normal flicker into his eyes, until it all goes pitch black and quiet.

--------------------

I wake to the beeping of a monitor. I groan, my eyes fluttering open. Christina, Uriah and Tobias are sitting around me. Chris immediately hops up, enveloping me in a hug.

"Oh honey you're awake!" She exclaims, pulling back. Uriah gives me a gentler hug, and I ignore the dull throb in my head from Christina's crazy bone crushing hug.

"Tobias?" I ask. I know it wasn't him. Someone made him hurt me. "Tris, I-I don't know what happened! I swear I was at a dinner party with a friend and this blonde woman gave me a clear blue drink, and then I can't remember anything until I was pinned in the floor by Zeke, and, oh god you were passed out on the bed and I was so scared. Don't break up with me I swear I love you." He sobs.

His face is close to mine, and I seize whatever space was left between us. He acts shocked, but I don't know how he thinks I didn't know it wasn't him. He starts kissing me back, until someone clears their throat behind us. We both pull away. And he sits back down.

The doctor fixes his glasses. Erudite snob. "I have your results for now, it looks like no major brain problems, except a minor concussion. Your baby seems to be fine. No birth defects should occur." He explains.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "You will be released tomorrow morning." He finishes, walking out. "You aren't mad, right?" Tobias asks as Uri and Chrissy walks out.

I shake my head,"You just can't be friends with that guy anymore, and never talk to Jeanine again." I scold. He laughs, letting his tense face relax.

"I will never let her take control of me again." He sighs, exhausted. "I just hope I don't have any... Nightmares." I say, getting a bit quiet. "Oh don't worry, I'll fight them off." He says, making a punching motion in the air.

I snort,"And what will you do that with, huh?" I ask. Tobias laughs,"My bare hands, obviously." I roll me eyes. "How did I get someone so perfect." I ask, bringing his hand to mine.

"Ditto." He laughs, kisses my nimble fingers. I blush,"Seriously! I'm having freaking babies with a muscle God!" I joke. He laughs rather loudly.

"You aren't so bad yourself." He replies, winking. I roll my eyes,"Except for one fact, I am a pale nobody, that's a fact." I roll my eyes. I thought he always knew about that.

"Don't say that and get it started again Tris, you are the most selfless, brave, smart, kind and honest girl I know, not to mention gorgeous, and if I need to tell you everyday, I will." He whispers.

I give him a loving look. "I really scored didn't I." He lets out a light, airy laugh,"I did too."

--------------------

Next morning

My head is still in a state of dull throbbing, but not near as bad as before. I sit up, ready to go. I shake Tobias awake. He sits up,"Morning beautiful, I'll get your bag." He walks over to a closet and pulls out a very abnegation outfit for me. I take it from Tobias, giving him a kiss on the cheek and change into the outfit. Time to head back home, to my anything but normal life.

Hey initiate! Sorry for the late update! Don't butter knife me! -_- *cough*Peter*cough*
