Ch.30

I wipe the last tear from my eye,"Bye Mom." I whisper. She hugs me and Audrey, and kisses Tobias on the cheek. I'm so happy she let us stay the night.

We wave goodbye, and I load Audrey into her car seat. I still have an itching anger for her at the back of my head, but everything has cleared up. She didn't know he abused me, and apparently sent letters every month. That must've been the 'trash mail' he complained about every month.

Tobias shuts the trunk of the van, and I climb in the backseat. "Aren't you glad she sent that package? You got to slap her, and you guys made up." Tobias laughs, getting into the drivers seat.

I giggle,"Yah yah, but I think Audrey and I are gonna take a nap." She yawns in response. I laugh lightly, then lay down again, drifting off as we drive back to Chicago.

Tobias' POV

I look at her sleeping face through the rear view mirror. It was so hard to see her cry, but it was all made up when they made up. My beautiful Tris. My beautiful Audrey. My beautiful family.

Tris' POV

I yawn, stretching my arms out. "Evelyn is almost home, hurry inside!" Tobias says, shaking me up. I groan, and turn to take out Audrey. She whimpers as I pull her up.

"It's ok baby." I whisper as she settles on my shoulder. Tobias has already unloaded the trunk, and I grab the diaper bag, walking inside. My feel dizzy from getting up so quick .

"You go take care of Audrey, I'll clean up the mess." Tobias says, referring to the torn open box from before we left. I smile gratefully, heading upstairs to Audrey's room. She 'chews' on the burp cloth, so I grab a bottle after laying her in the crib.

Tobias has already cleaned up the box. "I love you so much." I whisper as I pass his ear. He smiles slyly when I put the water in the microwave.

"Well that I do too."

Its probably December next year, Christmas is in five days, wedding in ten days. (book time)

"OMG Tris! You have to try this!" Christina squeals while fingering through wedding dresses. She's been a pain with all the planning, but it's worth it.

We already have the venue, caterers, ceremony place, and decor all planned out, yet I haven't picked out a dress!

"TRIS!" She screams again, except this time, pointing at something. "What! My god Christina!" I say, but stopping when it catches my eye.

I actually gasp at it. A beautiful strapless ballroom gown with a lacy tool skirt and a beaded top, not to mention an amazing bedazzled belt. I grab the tag, checking the price:

I whine, "It's soo expensive!" Luckily I have an unlimited budget, from the money I got when he died, but it still is in my price range!

"You have to try it on! It looks like the best option here!" Christina says, whisking me away to the consultant(person who helps you into dress)

I quickly take off my heavy outfit, and she helps me slip it on. I feel it snug on my body, and almost shiver in delight. "You look gorgeous!" The consultant says, adjusting a few layers of tool and shifting the belt, I look up in the mirror.

My eyes tear up. It isn't me in this dress. It's Mrs. Eaton. I can already imagine myself with a long veil, my mother at my side. Tobias smiling, not in any way, but just so your heart melts.

"I-I love it!" I gasp, and my consultant puts a hand to her chest. "Let's go show your entourage."

She picks it up behind me, and we walk to where Christina, my mother, Evelyn, Marlene, Lynn and Shauna are sitting. The reactions are priceless.

Even Lynn sheds a tear. "Oh my baby girl!" Mom says, running up to hug me. All the crying gets me worked up again. This is the dress. I'm so happy. I'm getting married. I'm going to be Mrs. Tris Eaton.

Christmas!

I wake to Audrey trying to climb on my bed. "Mama!" I turn around as she pulls away the blanket, Tobias groans. "SA TA!" She squeals. I laugh, pulling her onto the bed. Tobias turns around, smiling at her.

"Hey my beauty's." He says, kissing her on the forehead, me on the lips. "Z here?" She says. We both tilt our heads. "Ukle Z?" She says again. I roll my eyes, "Zeke is here."

Tobias nods, understanding. Suddenly, Zeke bursts into the room, 'singing' "JOY TO THE WORLD"

I cover my ears, but he stops quickly, and starts laughing. Then I remember, but don't say anything to Tobias. "Why... Do ... You... Have princess... Underwear.. On!" Zeke laughs.

I burst out laughing, and Audrey giggles. For Audrey's birthday she made daddy get some "Pretty Underwear." The washer broke, so that's all he had.

Of coarse he happened to not sleep with pants on the day Audrey pulls down the blanket!

"Well anyways Princess Pants, Everyone is downstairs. Let's go open presents!"
