Dylan:

"She can't be. Can she?" I asked.
"It says it right here. It only happens once every three millennia," Mom said. I sat down on a pile of books.
"Get off of those!" The librarian said. I quickly got up.
"Sorry." I leaned against a shelf.
"So you're positive she is?" I asked. Mom nodded.
"How did we not smell her?" Marcy asked.
"I've been thinking about that. Maybe it's because she doesn't know what she is. Jane hasn't connected with that side of her yet," Mom said.
"How has she not connected with her wolf side?" Marcy asked.
"It says here, that the person doesn't know she has a wolf side. They won't connect unless she's almost dead or her life is in danger," Mom said.
"She tried to kill herself. Shouldn't that have triggered her wolf or something?" I asked. Mom and Marcy looked heartbroken.
"No. Not unless she was on the verge of dying," she said.
"I stopped her right on time then," I said.
"So our Luna is a wolf," Marcy said.
"Technically she's more human than wolf. She has little wolf blood in her. Jane must have gotten in from a grandparent or a great grandparent. But she can show her teeth, claws, and eyes. Her eyes will glow violet," Mom said.
"Violet? Why not blue or gold? Or red cause she's the Luna?" I asked.
"It has to do with her being more human."
I sat down processing all of it. My mate is 1/4 wolf. She's human too.
"Does that mean she can be ask strong as me?" I asked. Mom nodded.
"Maybe. Her wolf side knows she's a Luna," Mom said.
"How can we call on her wolf side?" Marcy asked. The librarian walked up to us with a book in her hand. She gave it to Mom. Mom opened it and she smiled. She flipped the book so we could see it.
"With this," she said.

Jane:

"Jane," Dylan called out, knocking on the door. I sighed and opened it. He barged in with a cup in his hand.
"Drink this," he said, shoving the cup in my face. I backed up.
"Whoa. You can't just barge in here and expect to drink whatever is in that cup," I said. Dylan sighed.
"Trust me. Just drink it," Dylan said. "I wouldn't hurt you. You're my mate." I nodded and grabbed the cup. I took a big whiff and immediately regretted it.
"I'm so not drinking that," I said.
"Oh come on. It's not that bad. I had some earlier! I made it," he said, smiling. I gave him a look. I shrugged.
"Fine, I'll drink it." I took a swig of the nasty liquid.

Dylan:

I watched Jane take a drink of the spell type thing. She made a disgusted out face. I chuckled. She set the cup on the nightstand.
"How do you feel?" I asked.
"I feel fine," she said. Jane turned around and my eyes widened.
"It worked," I mumbled.
"What worked?" She asked. I stared into her glowing violet eyes. I blinked, calling on my werewolf eyes. I saw the wolf. A fiery figure surrounding my beautiful mate. It shaped her body.
"Why are your eyes red? Why is my vision enhanced?" Jane asked, confused.
"I'm looking through my werewolf eyes. Look in the mirror," I told her. Jane walked to the mirror and screamed.
"My eyes are glowing!" She yelled. "Why?!" I smiled and walked up to her.
"Your wolf side is connecting with you," I said. She turned to look at me.
"Wolf side? Dylan, I'm human," she said.
"You're 1/4 wolf. Long story short, this only happens every three millennia, your great or just grandparent was a wolf and yeah. Isn't this amazing? This is why you felt the pain all of us felt when Benjamin died," I said. Jane's violet glowing eyes were gone now.
"This doesn't make sense," she said.
"It won't at first but my mom can help you with that," I said. Mom walked in and waved.
"Hey Jane," she said.
"Hello, Emma," my mate said.
"I know this is very confusing but I promise we can figure this out," Mom said. Jane nodded. Just then I sniffed a powerful scent. My eyes started glowing as did Mom's. I turned towards Jane.
"What's happening?" Jane asked, terrified. Fur started sprouting all over her body. "It hurts! Make it stop!" She cried. The fiery wolf around Jane was growing. Engulfing Jane, in fire. Jane's eyes started glowing violet.
"Dylan," Jane said, her voice deep.
"State your name," I commanded.
"The name's Victoria," she said. I nodded once.
"Give me Jane back, Victoria," I said. She shook her head no.
"I've waited long enough. It's my time to rule this earth," Victoria said.
"To rule the earth? You're not even a full wolf. How do you expect-" I was thrown to the wall by some force.
"That's your mate, you stupid bitch!" Marcy yelled. Victoria whipped her head towards Marcy. Victoria held up her head and snapped Marcy's neck.
"No!" Mom shouted.

Jane:

"What's happening?" I asked. I looked down at my body and saw fur growing everywhere. I looked back up and that's when everything went black.
"Hello," I called out. Just then a blinding white light came on. I looked at my surroundings. I was in a solid white room.
"Jane," an angelic voice said. I turned to where it was and saw a women standing there. The first thing I noticed was her glowing violet eyes. I studied the rest of her. She had wavy grey hair and she was wearing a dress. She even had a gold crown, covered in leaves. She was beautiful. Then I saw another women appear next to her. She had the same eyes but her hair was an ugly white. Her nails were dirty and her face had a scar across it. When she smiled, I saw yellow rotting teeth. I backed away but ran into the pretty women.
"Jane. We are your wolf side. You can only choose one of us. I am Ivy. The good one. This is Victoria. She wants to take over the world," Ivy said.
"How do I choose you?" I asked.
"You let us touch you. We become one," Ivy responded.
"I choose you," I said. Ivy stuck out her hand and right when I grabbed it, her face changed. It was Victoria. I looked back and saw Ivy, tied up. Victoria grabbed my hand and smiled evilly.
"What have I done?" I asked. Just then Victoria vanished and Ivy came running up to me.
"Yell that you choose me! Quickly!" Ivy shouted.
"I choose Ivy!" I yelled. The white light dimmed and then brightened more. A gust of wind went through the entire room. Ivy was being risen. Her hair was flying in every direction. She vanished, just like Victoria did. Just then Ivy appeared back with Victoria in hand. She threw her on the ground.
"Say you don't want Victoria," Ivy said. I nodded.
"I don't want Victoria anymore," I said. Victoria screamed. Her body was being torn in half. I squeezed my eyes shut. Victoria's screams stopped and I opened my eyes.
"I am Ivy, your wolf," Ivy said. She touched my forehead and I shot up gasping for air.
Dylan rushed to my side.
"Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded.
"What happened?" I asked. I looked at his black eye and busted lip. "Dylan, what happened to your face?" I reached up to touch it and he grabbed my hand.
"Nothing. I'm fine," he said. He bent down and connected our lips. "I love you."
"I love you too."
