Asteria:

My head is killing me and I know it has less to do with my injury and more to do with intermediate algebra. What the hell was that? Am I supposed to know what that stuff means?! Brendon opens the door for me and we see Davey waiting outside.

"How'd it go?" He laughs. Brendon and I both groan at the same time and lean against the wall.

"I don't even know how being in that class from the beginning can help that was awful!" Brendon groans. He rubs his eyes under his glasses. "What's next? Please don't say physics..."

"Nope! Astronomy!"

"Asteria taking astronomy?" Brendon laughs. I laugh too. That's a little ridiculous. But I guess I needed the class? Hopefully I'm better there than I was in math.

"How are your ribs doing?" Brendon asks me.

"They aren't hurting too bad. I'm just a little tired."

"After that crap, of course you are!" We all laugh and Davey shows us where my class is.

Astronomy is surprisingly much easier than my math class. And my instructor is a lot nicer. We end up having to do a lab and Brendon asks if he can be my partner. The instructor is hesitant but rolls with it, leaving Brendon and I to try to distinguish which soil could have came from which planet. By the time we're out of class I'm starving.

"Finally! Done for the day!" I shout as I run out of astronomy. I quickly grab my side and regret my dramatic exit.

"Be careful, babe!" Brendon calls out as he rushes to help me.

"Babe? You've gotta be fucking kidding me."

We both turn quickly and there's a very thin, tall, dark haired girl glaring at me.

"Um, who are you?" I ask, irritated.

"Oh God, don't play all ignorant just because you're infront of your famous boyfriend." She rolls her eyes and pushes her dark locks out of her face.

"Look isn't there somewhere you need to be? Or someone you need to be on top of? Just get out of here." Brendon and I turn and see Davey. He looks disgusted and angry.

"Yeah and you wish it were you, honey." She turns around and starts walking away.

"Skeletons aren't my type."

"Yeah, obviously," she says motioning toward me. I shrink behind Brendon, suddenly aware of every part of my body.

"Maybe he just didn't want to sleep with you because you're a stuck up bitch," Brendon shouts at her.

"You know what asshole?" She turns around and yells.

"What? I'm begging for more."

She stares, open mouthed, and no words come out. Davey and Brendon walk me away from her and I hear her calling me other names. I thought bullying ended in high school?

"Why does she hate me?" I ask. Davey rolls his eyes and shakes his head.

"Don't worry about her."

"Do I have any classes with her?"

"...yeah...but don't worry about her."

Brendon glares at Davey and spins him around.

"Dude, I get it. You'd better tell her. I don't care if you're embarrassed." What does Brendon know that I don't? Davey sighs and looks at me as we walk back to the car, hoping to get lunch.

"Look the thing with Kim is...you know I'm not the nicest guy to girls sometimes...And I went out with her once but she was just such a bitch. So I never called her back and then she saw us hanging out and you were excited about a gig you got designing a paramore poster so you kind of jumped on me. You know like, completely. Like spiderman I guess? Your legs were around my waist...anyway she saw that and for some reason hates you as much as she hates me. But she's just an evil troll, Asteria don't worry about it."

"She talked about my weight..."

"Dude, she hardly eats and she's probably just mad because you actually have curves."

"That's a nice way of saying I'm fat."

"No! Asteria!" Davey starts panicking and Brendon steps in. He pulls my hips to his.

"Your body is perfect, Asteria." He kisses my forehead and cheeks. "You have a beautiful face."

He makes his way down to my neck and shoulders and I start to get dizzy.

"Your neck is perfect, your shoulders are sexy," he continues making his way to my collar bone and my senses are absorbed by Brendon. "Your chest is incredible."

He runs his hands down my side and up my back.

"You have a perfect waistline." Davey clears his throat as Brendon gets to my hips. Brendon gives me a smirk and whispers in my ear. "And, I'm sorry if it's rude but, you have the most amazing ass I've ever seen."

My face flushes red and I'm shocked and speechless. Brendon winks at me and takes my hand while I giggle. That mouth, oh my gosh. Davey seems irritated as Brendon helps me get into the car.

After a very much needed lunch at a local sandwich shop and getting to know Brendon a little bit more, Davey drops us off at my apartment.

"It's weird that he didn't come up with us," I tell Brendon. He watches me as I plop onto the couch and pull out a sketchbook.

"That's because I'm going back down. I have to stop by my apartment. I'll be back okay?" Before I can answer Brendon shuts the door and I don't have the time to argue and tell him I don't want to be alone...
