Asteria:
I stand in front of him and wait for him to deny it. To deny that I was a game, a woman to conquer, a one night stand. But he just stares back at me with his mouth halfway open and the only thing that moves are the ashes of his cigarette with the wind. I nod as I finish mine off and flick it into the ash tray by the door.
"I'm sorry, Brendon. This really was a dream come true and I had a lot of fun. But I am not that kind of girl." I turn around instead of continuing mg speak so he doesn't see me cry and I walk away. He really had me going. He really did. I really wanted this to work and I really wanted it to be that he really wanted to see me again. Especially after that stupid dance. But I didn't want to find out when I got too invested. I didn't want him to ask if I wanted to stay at his place for the night or anything like that. You're ruining this. I roll my eyes at my subconscious because she thinks I don't know exactly what I'm doing but my internal debate is halted.
The hairs on the back of my neck start to prickle when I realize that I've been going the wrong way and I'm on a very bad street. Davey's apartment is about two blocks away if I keep going and I can run pretty fast... I don't want to run into him again. He'll convince me to stick around and I don't want to lose my virginity over a one night stand, even if it is with Brendon Urie. I cautiously keep walking through the dark roads, trying to be as quiet and unnoticed as possible.
A loud slamming sound makes me jump and I realize that I'm walking past the back of a bar. A bar that three drunken idiots just walked out of. They're giggling and I try to walk faster before they notice me.
"Damn for an old lady you've got a real nice ass!" One shouts at me. I keep walking, hoping they'll just go away but they walk much faster than I do. One is almost next to me and my pace is nearly a jog.
"Hey she ain't old! She's just got weird hair!" I can smell the scotch in his breath.
"You have ten seconds to get away from me."
They all laugh and slowly close in. I'm not doing this. This isn't going to happen. One grabs my shoulder and I spin on my heel and drive my palm into his nose. He screams in pain and I start to sprint, but the first cat caller catches my bag and his friend catches my hair. I thrash my body as much as possible, hoping to get a hit in hard enough for me to start running again but I'm hyperventilating. They're cursing and screaming but I can't make out what it is. Everything is muffled and my vision is blurring.
There isn't away out of this. It's happening all over again. My body is starting to go numb but it's unfortunately not fast enough for me to not feel the foot being driven into my ribs. I choke and spit, but something about seeing my blood spattered on the side walk and feeling it down my chin sets me off. Another kick to the ribs but when it hits I kick his leg and he's on the ground.
"I think she broke my fucking knee!" He yelps. Yeah I fucking hope I did.
The other grabs my arms and puts them behind my back. I kick and try thrashing again but there's no luck. I'm being lifted and carried and I think it's over. I can hardly breathe and I don't see myself getting out of this hold. He picks me up even higher and I can't figure out how because I remember him only being so tall. But when I feel myself falling back I'm completely confused and convinced that I'm officially delirious.
