Just Amazing

New Start

#4 months later#

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock playing 'Walking Dead Theme Song'. I groan and roll around in my bed, not wanting to get up for school. I only have one more week left to the Christmas Holidays but I still do not want to get up.

"Come on Hayes, up you get" I hear Carol say from the other side of the door. I groan in response and sit up, rubbing the sleep away from my eyes. I glance over to my phone to see I have received a message. I open it up and see it is from Becky.

"Good morning Hayes, you will still be asleep when you get this but you will love me for it when you wake up!  I miss you heaps! Have fun at your last week for school!" I read. I smile and put my phone back down again, happy to wake up in a good mood today. The first few months here have been really hard. It took some time adjusting to Australia and being without the others, especially mum, Chandler and Becky. I do go on social media often and keep in contact with the cast mates. We have our own online private chat set up to do so. We all skype and text each other frequently, except Chandler. I haven't bothered to keep in contact with him and neither has he. This did upset me but now I have moved on. I am really looking forward to these holidays because the new season of the Walking Dead Premiers and they want all of the cast members to be there for the opening. Yay! I can't wait. If only mum was around to be excited with me...

"You're going to be late for school" Carol says again, this time opening the door and closing it shut behind her. She walks over to my wardrobe and gets out my uniform. Yes, unfortunately in Australia we have to wear Uniforms which totally suck! The good thing is though that Becky and I have been able to make our videos, just not together in one. Though we promised the fans a lot together when we meet over the holidays and they have been going wild ever since. I have also been getting a lot of hate because of being 'famous', breaking up with Chandler...

"Thank you, but I might just meet up with Brook on the way to school" I say grabbing my school uniform and walking into the bathroom to change. I shut the door behind me and do my hair, put on a little bit of makeup and finished getting changed. Once I was done, I go down the stairs and into the kitchen to have breakfast.

"So, do you have dance this afternoon?" she asks me happily. I have only decided to go back to dancing starting tonight. I smile and nod happily. I am trying to still have a life, without mum...

I admit I do cry almost every night about everything that I have lost or left behind. Carol does try to comfort me but It is not her I need, it's mum and everyone I have left in America.

"Hayley!" I hear a small squeaky voice call out for me. I smile and turn around to see Jessie running into my arms. I pick her up and give her a hug. She smiles and giggles as I begin to tickle her. I have decided to put Jessie in some of my videos seeing the fans go crazy about her, she is just too gorgeous and adorable.

"Are you going to school?" she asks me. I put her down and smile, kneeling to her height.

"Yep, but I will be home soon, then we can make another video" I say causing her to laugh and nod her head vigorously at the idea of another video with me.

"Okay, I'll miss ya" she says wrapping her tiny arms around my shoulders. I wrap mine around her tiny waist and give her a cuddle. I then stand back up and finish off my breakfast. I rush around finishing what I have to finish before I am racing out the door and down the road to meet up with Brook.

"Hey Cupcake" she says looking up from her phone when I reach the corner of my street where we always meet to walk to school.

"Hey Cookie" I reply to her causing both of us to laugh. I have gotten really close to her over the past 4 months. We have practically been inseparable since. We talk about everything, although we are not as close as Becky and I. Brook and Becky also seem to get along really well too, when they skype each other or call of course. They have not meet in person yet but I hope they will and soon.
