Nia ends up deciding to take your last name, she thinks Y/L/N would sound better with Nia than Lovelis would sound with Y/F/N. Not a lot of people would have expected you to change your last names, and if you did they would have thought you would have taken Nia's, which you also suggested to her, but she was set on having your last name.

You both decided to keep your last names the same. You discussed it and it's hard for you both to choose whose last name to take. Miranda sounds good with Y/L/N but Y/F/N sounds good with Miller, it's a tricky situation, so to save any arguments, you both decided to keep your last names. Then when you have kids, that's when you'll have to decide whose last name they'll take.

You obviously took Caseys last name, it's traditional for the girl to take the boys last name and because you both wanted to keep it that way you did. You loved the fact you could change your name because you felt it brought you closer to him. Y/F/N Moreta or Mrs.Moreta kept going round in your mind, it also suited your name perfectly.
