Olivia ran as hard as she could, she felt her entire body pushing itself to it's limit. She wasn't sure how long she'd been running, all she knew was that she needed to go faster, and further.

Suddenly, Olivia tripped, she let out a gasp as her body collided with the forest floor. She lay there, shaking, complete and utter exhaustion captivating every muscle in her body. Olivia's arms shook as she attempted to push herself up, but it was pointless, as once again, she felt her body against the damp ground. Olivia threw up stomach bile, the ultimate sign of her body giving up.

"I can't... I'm so sorry, Tim. I can't..." She sobbed, wheezing heavily, "I failed you...."

Olivia's entire body began to shut down, fast tears falling from her blue eyes. She looked up, to see a shadow standing above her,

"I'm sorry..." Was all she whispered as she slipped into unconsciousness.

Alex stood up, the searing pain suddenly gone. He looked around frantically.

"Where's Clara?" He demanded, helping Tim up.

"I thought you had her." Tim replied through his teeth.

"No, I thought she was being stunned, like us-" Alex looked at the door. He instantly threw himself against it.

"Wait. What just happened?" Tim dusted himself off, gathering his bearings.

"Ivan has her!" Alex shouted, "Who knows what he could be doing to her-"

Tim ran at the door, he fell to the floor, clutching his shoulder.

"I can't handle this anymore, Alex!" Tim yelled, "My entire body is breaking! My 'effed up life has become even more 'effed up! I will put a gun to my head and send a bullet into my brain-"

"We can't let her die, Tim, get up!"

Tim rolled over, facing away from Alex.

"It's over, Alex...." Tim muttered, "We tried to stop Ivan, but we didn't. He's always been one step ahead of us, all this time... It doesn't matter how much we researched, he knew that we'd defy him, and he knew that we'd find out, that was why he left his office door open. He wanted us to know his plans, but he was always going to win, and when we tried to stop him, when we thought we could beat him at his own game, he just pushed us back... Like he was proving a point..."

"What are you saying?"

"These few weeks have just been a victory lap for him. He could have taken Clara anytime he wanted, with or without her permission, but he decided to make it more painful for us when he finally did." Tim stared at the wall, still not looking at Alex.

"She's all I have, Tim." Alex said quietly, "She's the best thing that could have happened to me. And I'm not letting her go. Either you get up, and help me or you fight against me."

Silence hung in the air like a bad smell, Tim remained still. Alex shook his head, turning his attention back to the door, when a wolf came hurdling towards the door, sending the door crashing onto the stairs, breaking into pieces as it did so. Tim's wolf looked up at Alex, dazed.

Alex grinned, the wolf returned the gesture, his tongue hanging out of his mouth.

The She-Wolf heard the noise, she pulled away from Ivan, who was kissing her neck.

"What's wrong?" Ivan asked her, tucking a strand of hair out of her face.

"Our prisoners are escaping." She murmured, slinking towards the cellar. Just as she turned the corner, Tim pounced on her, growling. Ivan crossed his arms, watching eagerly.
