"How do you want to play this? Good cop, bad cop? Or good cop, good cop? Or just bad cop, very bad cop?" Tim whispered to Alex.
"Bad cop and very bad cop." Clara answered, glaring at Ivan's slumped over, unconscious body tided up in a chair. She held a baseball bat,
"Where did you get that?" Alex asked her cautiously,
"I used it to destroy his office." She replied simply, "It was behind the cupboard."
"Oh... okay...." Tim replied slowly, before turning to Alex, "I think we've created a monster..."
Alex laughed.
For the past day, the three of them ransacked Ivan's room, discovering old diaries kept hidden for years.
"Wake up!" Clara shouted at Ivan, "Get up, you so called Alpha!"
Tim grabbed a bucket of water that was spiked with wolfsbane. He tipped it over Ivan's head. Ivan let out a shout as his skin began to sizzle.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Ivan demanded, growling.
"Shut up! We're the ones asking the questions around here!" Clara pointed the baseball bat at him. Alex stood behind her, his arms were crossed in front of his chest.
"I am your Alpha-"
"Really? Because to me, you're just a psychotic, bipolar, dictatorial douche-bag!" Clara shouted in Ivan's face. Alex uncrossed his arms, uncomfortable with Clara's distance between himself and Ivan, "And I'm fed up with your shit!"
"What did I ever do to you, Clara? I've never done anything other then teach you how to be one of us." Ivan hissed,
"One of us? You mean a monster, like you?" Clara growled, "Let me get this straight, I will never be like you!"
Ivan laughed masochistically, slumping his head, his black hair covering his fiery eyes.
"What about Melissa?" He whispered, Clara turned to stare at him, dropping the baseball bat by her side. Alex put a hand on her shoulder, Clara shrugged him off.
"What?"
"Didn't you kill your best friend?" Clara felt like she'd just been punched in the stomach, "Weren't you the one who locked your sister, Tim and Melissa in a car? Weren't you the one who set fire to it? I never told you to do that. You fastened her seat belt. You signed her death wish. You killed Melissa." Ivan raised his head. "Not me"
The three of them were silent, Alex watched Clara carefully, awaiting her reaction, but Clara stared at the corner, her eyes beginning to turn to glass. Tim looked at Ivan, all he felt was disgust.
"Are you done?" Tim clenched his teeth, "Are you bored with toying with all our lives?"
"Oh no," Ivan smiled, "I've only just begun." Ivan closed his eyes.
"What's he doing?" Clara demanded, snapping out of her trance.
"Wait." Tim pointed at Ivan, "He's doing what he did before!" Tim jumped from one foot to the other.
"What did he do before?!" Alex asked frantically, leaning towards Ivan,
"He, um, he had this voice, inside my head-"
"Wait, what?" Clara snapped her head around to stare at Tim, letting the baseball bat swing around with her, "Do you mean he could read your thoughts?"
"No! He gave me this demand, and I couldn't control myself, it was like he took my will away!" Tim held up his hands, staring at the baseball bat, "Clara, I really like my face, so if you could just give the baseball bat to Alex, that would be greatly appreciated."
