Ivan stood at the edge of the road, police tape was fluttering in the breeze. He'd stood there for a while now,  but no one had bothered him as they pulled the prado out, and sent it away to the smash repairs. He wanted them to leave so he could look properly for his missing pack member.

"Where is Michael?" Alex asked, breathing heavily.

"Hopefully, not dead." Ivan said, "I just wish the police would hurry up and leave." Alex looked off to the work on the other side of the road.

"You know, we could always make them leave." Tim said, appearing from no where. Ivan glared at him,

"How do you propose we do that?" Ivan's jaw clenched, his eyes flashing red. Tim pulled out a lighter,

"By giving them a distraction." Tim replied, Ivan looked at the flame on the little silver lighter and grinned ear to ear.

"I don't understand," Alex said, "What's the plan?"

"Tim sets the north part of the forest on fire, and in the meantime, you and I watch as our little police friends leave the crimesite and go follow the real danger. It's a small town after all, these are the only police around." Ivan replied, "And when they leave, we go and try and find Michael." Tim laughed, before sprinting off into the forest, denaturing as he went. Alex thought about it for a moment,

"What happens if Tim can't get out in time?" He asked, turning to Ivan.

"Well, than it sucks to be Tim." Ivan replied.

Thursday afternoon, Clara lay on her fourpost bed, braiding her hair, with Florence and the Machine playing in the background. She turned over onto her belly, her mind wandering back to Melissa, "...she's a total attentionseeker....bad news..." Taylor Hawthorne was half right, but Melissa had been her best friend since day one. Junior prom was a nightmare for Melissa, but Clara was by her side through all of it. Clara looked at her Micky-Mouse telephone on her bedside table. Something told her to call Melissa and beg for forgiveness. But maybe Olivia was right, the party was her only chance for Clara to lose her bad reputation, but if that meant losing Melissa too....

"Hey, I'm going shopping with the girls for new bikini's," Olivia said, in a tight camel sweater dress. "Want me to pick you up anything?" Olivia was texting again.

"Umm... I think I'm good for swimwear..." Clara replied, getting up and looking through her chest of drawers, "Here they are." She held up a full piece swim suit, a straight neckline, and a shade of blue to make anyone cringe. Olivia looked up and made a face,

"I think you're missing the theme," Olivia said, "This is a pool party, not 'dress in swimwear like your from the 40's' party." Clara sighed and looked out the window. "I'll get you a really cute bikini."

"No way!" Clara protested, "A full piece, for Gods sake, or a tankini at least!" Olivia moaned,

"You're no fun." She whined before walking away.

Alex watched as all the police cars peeled away from the scene and went racing towards the northside of the forest. Ivan and Alex both lept into action,

"You take the left, I'll go right," Ivan ordered, pointing to the left. Alex immediately denatured and ran, his big wolf paws pounding against the ground, he smelt the air for Michael, pushing through the pain of his transformation. He paused, smelling around a tree, where blood spotted the bark. Alex continued to sniff, coming to the edge of a slippery hill. Down bellow, he saw Michael's mangled human body. Alex let out a rippling howl, calling out to Ivan and Tim. He denatured back into a human and slid down the side of the hill.

"Alex...." Michael whispered, his blonde hair had traces of blood in it. "You're alive," Michael said, Alex nodded, "I thought you were killed by the car, I saw it happening, and when the car spun out of control, it hit me, I was just standing there."

"Oh God, Michael, your leg," Alex said, his right leg lay in an extremely unnatural position, with the bone showing through, "I'm so sorry."

"Don't be sorry, you can't control your wolf. It's cool." Michael said, still completely chill even though he was slowly dying.

"Jesus Christ!" Tim yelled, sliding down the hill, "Michael!" Tim felt his pulse, "It isn't steady, you've probably got internal bleeding, your ribs are definitely destroyed, and your leg-"

"Okay, Tim, I get it, I'm practically dead." Michael said, "I've already come to terms with it, so I'm fine."

"What do you mean?" Alex asked, kneeling in front of him.

"Was I ever happy with being a werewolf?" Michael asked, before wincing in pain,

"No, I guess not," Alex replied,

"After I got hit by that car and tried to drag myself away, I rolled down this hill and ended up here, all I could think about was how happy I was going to be when this is over." Michael said, the three of them all sat in silence after that. They sat there as Michael started to fade away,

"I'll be happier, when this curse is lifted and I am free...." He whispered, before his eyes emptied and all that was left was a vacant look on his face. Alex and Tim looked at each other, both of them filled with a sad rage.

"Right, I suppose we better clean this mess up," Ivan's voice came from no where, he lifted Michael,

"This mess is like a brother to me." Tim growled, Alex looked at him in alarm. Ivan raised his eyebrows at him.

"Than you can bury your 'brother'," Ivan growled back, his eyes turning red with rage, dropping Michael's dead body onto the ground and storming away. Tim's lip twitched, Alex turned to him.

"You've got to be more careful around Ivan, you're lucky he didn't rip your throat out." Alex muttered through clenched teeth.

"He won't kill me, we've already lost one of our pack, he's not likely to put up with finding two replacements." Tim smirked, but it was soon gone as he picked up Michael's arms, "Are you gonna help me or what?" Alex jumped up, grabbing Michael's legs.

"This is the worst full piece swimsuit," Clara said, "I have ever seen," She held it up by it's diamonte's straps, it had a hole to show off her belly button, two large holes in the side, a extremely low neckline and to top it off, it was purple.

"It's sexy." Olivia pouted, her hands on her hips, "You could so get a boyfriend in those."

"I don't want a boyfriend, I just don't want to be a-" she stopped, "-be called a lesbian anymore."

"Exactly. Who knows, you could come away with the boy to save your social life from hitting an iceberg and sinking to the depths of the ocean, where no one will ever find it again." Clara thought about it.

"Fine." She moaned, before throwing the swimsuit onto her bed.
