Tim's vision started to become blurry, he could smell his own blood as a bullet whizzed past his head. He limp-ran towards the huge mansion in the distance, another bullet passing him. He dived into a bush, waiting for the humans to race past him. When the clueless bunch had disappeared, he dragged his useless limb along, trying to get to the house.
Olivia heard the two gun shots and freaked out. She raced to the back door, just as a group of men ran past. She opened the door, waiting. A howl ripped through the quiet night. A whimper replied to the roaring noise. Olivia ran across the yard,
"Tim!" Olivia cried, immediately reconizing the wolf staggering towards her. She picked it up, it yelped. Olivia saw the gaping wound and gagged. She hated blood, but here it was, creating a puddle on the ground. Olivia tried again, lifting Tim up, she carried him inside, partly running.
Olivia placed Tim on the tiles, for an easier clean up later. She immediately got to work. Olivia thought back to her First Aid courses. When was the day they were learning about bullet wounds?
That was the day of Freddy's haircut. She didn't like it and they spent most of the lesson arguing.
Pressure, Olivia remembered, before grabbing tea towels and applying pressure to the wound.
Suddenly, Tim started to shake. Olivia lept back as he transformed into a human. He screamed, pain coursing through him as his wolf sedated.
"Get it out!" Tim growled through his teeth. "Get the bullet out!"
"How?" Olivia replied, Tim groaned, still in pain.
"Get something to grab it before I heal over it." Tim yelled, his eyes wide with the searing pain as his body began to heal the wound, "It'll get infected."
Olivia darted away, rifling through drawers,
"HURRY!" Tim yelled, holding the wound open a little longer. Olivia pulled out a large pair of tweezers. She ran back to Tim. "Alright, I'll keep it open, but you have to reach in there with the tweezers and pull the bullet out."
"Shouldn't I sterilize them first?"
"No time!" Tim cried out, as his shoulder began to bleed again.
Olivia hesitated, staring at the new stream of blood pounding out of Tim.
"What's wrong?"
"Blood."
"It's only a liquid." Tim groaned, "Just help me. Please. Olivia, I need you to do this for me."
Olivia sucked in her breath.
"It's only a liquid," She whispered, before poking the tweezers around inside his wound, Tim yelled out as she hit the bone. Olivia gagged once again. She closed her eyes, searching around, much to her relief she found it, she grabbed it quickly, and pulled it out. Tim let the wound close. He lay there, panting. Olivia looked at her hands, they were covered in blood. She started to shake.
"Thank-you." He whispered, totally naked. He blushed, but then looked up at Olivia. Olivia's blue eyes were huge as she stared at her hands bathed in blood. He pulled a blanket from the couch to cover himself. "Let's get you cleaned up." He took her hands, leading her upstairs to look for a bathroom.
Tim was gone. Clara was sure of it.
"Where could he be?" She whispered, leaning against Alex, as the sun began to rise. They'd shifted early tonight. Her power was radiating from her. She was much stronger after her kill last night.
"I'm honestly not sure, Clara." Alex replied, as they got dressed. "He could turn up this morning, tonight, or tomorrow. Tim is like that."
"But what if he's in danger?"
