*Izuku opened his eyes again, after what felt like years, as he looks around, he saw himself in his office, in front of him was his desk, filled with paperwork ready for him to sign. Izuku turned his chair to the window behind him and took a deep breath, remembering why he closed his eyes like that for so long. He was remembering something, remembering back when he was so small, that something as meaningless as a festival meant the world for him. Funny. Real funny.*
Izuku:At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff. I had a little workshop and that workshop was enough
*Izuku started to sing, as he turned back to his work and started to read the reports, the self-sufficient suits were not working as well as he initially promised, and he was reaching the limit of his intellectual ability as much as it burns him to even think of it. He is going to have to bite the bullet and ask for help from people who are lesser than him, before these reports get leaked to the media. Izuku gave a small breath and remembered when things were simpler.*
Izuku: A place where I could sit and build. A place where I could make my suits. But now I've had a little time to reassess my needs.
*Izuku sang as he stood up and walked out of his office, walking past his work staff. Not other humans, no. Of course not. Izuku can't trust his company in the hands of human error. No. All his workers were nothing more than basic models of his Ironman suits, following his instructions and his vision for his company. One of the robots walked to Izuku with some papers, izuku took it and read it, smirking at what it was. It was leverage, it was secret blueprints of his competitors. With some slight modifications from izuku himself, he'll be able to use this to make his robotic heroes better.*
Izuku: And I need a bigger office, I need. a bigger chair. A bigger desk, a bigger staff. A bigger hat to wear.
*Izuku sang as he snapped his fingers and ordered his machines to get to work immediately on these designs, he needed to have them out to the public before the Hatsume Corp. Or the shield industry gets to bring out their own version of this. Izuku was already the nunber 1 hero, but that wasn't enough. No. It wasn't enough that he became number 1 in record time beating Toshinori's pathetic little legacy. No. He needed more. He needed to become the number 1 in robotics too. Izuku blinked and next thing he knew he was having a discussion with Ibara.*
Izuku: Because I'm biggering yes, biggering. I'm figgering on biggering. And biggering is triggering more biggering
Ibara: Hey, listen up, Sin of Pride. I'm gonna say this once, and I'm not gonna repeat it. Greed, see, it's like a little pet, alright?. And the more and more and more that you go and feed it. The more hungry it'll get
*Ibara said, trying to be the voice of reason for Izuku, as she has seen firsthand what happens when his suits malfunction on the field, people get hurt. People die. And those people can't just become numbers on Izuku's spreadsheets or be seen as collateral damage for the "greater good." No. Izuku needed to understand, that he was feeding a black hole inside his heart that will never be filled. She was trying to make Izuku take a step back and stop him from expanding his empire too fast less it crumbles on top of him. Izuku rolled his eyes and turned his head, he heard the person in front of him snapping her fingers making izuku sigh and look at mina.*
Mina: But you know, you really can't blame greed. No, that's stupid. You see, it's gotta worm inside. Oh yeah, that's right. It's one that always needs to feed and it is never satisfied. You get it?
