3rd intermission
*After the whips to the ground and Bakugo being... well Bakugo, the arena was indeed destroyed again, and Cementoss had to fix it again, so the sports festival had to deal with a third intermission. We start this story in the medical field of the sports festival where Chiyo was looking over Mei, having finished cleaning up the blood, kissing what was broken, and putting bandages on those injuries that needed more time. Mina who woke up from being knocked unconscious was looking at the damage that Izuku did to his own special person just to win.*
Mina: How is she?
Chiyo: She'll be fine, Izuku fractured a few ribs, broke her nose, and gave her a concussion, but it's far less damage than he did to Ochako and you.
*Chiyo said with a deep sigh, looking at the girl who remembered Chiyo of her own grandchild in this state, it left a bitter taste in her mouth. She understood that Izuku didn't like doing this, he can understand him not being able to just knock Mei out of the arena, but that doesn't mean that she has to like what the boy did. Mina sat up straight on her bed with some help from Kirishima. Mina kissed Kirishima's cheek as a thank you before continuing with the conversation, since somebody was missing on the medical wing.*
Mina: And where is Midori?
Chiyo: The boy left her when he knew she would be ok. The second I told him she would be fine, he left, something about fixing the damage Mei did to his hero suit. But that was a clear excuse.
*Chiyo said with a shake of her head, she remembered what happened while Mina was still asleep and Izuku walked inside, Kirishima gave him a dirty look but otherwise didn't say anything, ochako on the other hand, just started to insult Izuku and scream at him, for the amount of damage he did to all of them. Izuku didn't react to any of it, he just placed Mei on the unused bed and waited for Chiyo to heal the poor girl. As soon as he got the news that she would be ok, he just left without a single word being said by the boy who usually always had a comment to say about something.*
Mina: Excuse huh?
Chiyo: The boy had to beat up his girlfriend. I would find it concerning if he didn't get emotional about it. He's probably crying alone, feeling awful about his actions.
*Chiyo said with a shrug, as she left to start making some special pills for Mei for when she wakes up, that will speed up the process of the fractured ribs, but Mei would still need to be on bed rest for at least a week. Mina gave a low nod in understanding, she gets that Midori wants to win, and that doing this to Mei couldn't have been easy for him, doesn't make it right, Mina does understand where his mind was at. Ochako on the other hand didn't understand it for a damn second.*
Ochako: Yeah right. He's probably fixing the armor, not giving a damn about the damage he did.
Mina: Maybe for your fight. For Mei? She was the only one who stayed with him, he's gotta be upset about that
*Mina said with a nod, since even if they weren't official like she was with Kirishima, Mina knew that the two socially inept duo romantically cared for each other. But there was a clear difference, both Kirishima and she were in the hero course and both of them were Neurotypical unlike Mei and Izuku, so Kirishima didn't feel bad when he beat Mina whenever they trained. Mei had no training to speak of, she definitely didn't have any training to get a high pain tolerance, so this fight really was different from the others. Ochako rolled her eyes as her anger for Midoriya continued.*
Ochako: And my family is actually secretly rich. That asshole isn't upset about a damn thing. And why are you even defending him after what he did to you?
Mina: I'm not. Don't get me wrong, I'm furious about what he did to my horns, but Mei is different. I'm gonna go look for him.
*Mina said as she slowly stood up and winced feeling the pain in her rib area, that kick really did a number on her. Mina felt the supportive hand of Kirishima on her back, worried that she would hurt herself any more than she already was. Mina took a sharp breath and slowly stood up straight, offering her boyfriend a soft smile that was a little strained given the pain she was feeling as her nerves calmed down. Hearing what Mina said, Chiyo decided to give a word of advice to the girl.*
