*It's been a week since Izuku was traumatized and he was unusually quiet, he was wearing his face mask everywhere so he wouldn't have to smile, and he just started forward having this thousand-yard stare that nobody could seem to get him out of. To be fair very few wanted it, since it was nice not to have Izuku being an asshole to everybody. But while Izuku was trapped in his poor scared mind, we see Inko having lunch with Mitsuki as she told the woman what's been going on with her while she was off on a vacation in Peru.*
Inko: And that's what happened.
Mitsuki: Jesus, I take 1 vacation. 1! And all hell breaks loose! Hisashi?! Hisashi was here and I missed him?!
*Mitsuki yelled, making everybody in the restaurant give her a side eye. Inko would say something about Mitsuki's behavior, but what's the point? She wouldn't listen even if she did. And it's not like she can blame the woman, it's been a hell of a month she went through from cutting contacts with Izuku, to Hisashi's appearance, and... nemuri and her doing stuff in private, she barely had time to breathe.*
Inko: Unfortunately. Knowing him, he's already in some South American country. I couldn't find it in me to care.
Mitsuki: I can imagine. But something doesn't add up. You said that this new friend of yours was an accountant right?
*Mitsuki asked with a confused tone as she took a sip of her tea. Inko has spoken about this Nemuri Kayama before, but kept it vague, all she said about her was that she was a good, new friend that she made, Mitsuki didn't need to know more than that, she was just happy that Inko had some company. Even if she didn't know the full extent, since Inko kept a lot hidden from Mitsuki, given how... conservative she tends to be. Inko nodded in confirmation, Nemuri was just an accountant at a company not all that glamorous, but a hell of a lot better than being just a janitor like herself.?
Inko: Yeah? Why?
Mitsuki: Didn't she say she was a teacher before that? A sex ed teacher at a high school.
*Mitsuki asked with a confused scowl on her face, since she remembers that Inko told her that this nemuri was a teacher and now an accountant. Either Mitsuki is confusing her for somebody else or something wasn't adding up with Nemuri's story. Inko opened her mouth and then closed it in thought Mitsuki was right, Nemuri did say that she was a teacher, Inko must've forgotten that she told her that and Nemuri clearly did as well if this was any indication, which meant that she lied about what her means of employment was.*
Inko: I... huh... she did.
Mitsuki: Something tells me she slipped up and is keeping her real job a secret.
*Mitsuki said with a shrug, not seeing anything bad with that, I mean yeah it was a little shitty, but some jobs were embarrassing to admit that they have. All jobs had a sort of dignity to them, but that didn't mean that they weren't embarrassing to be the one doing them. Like working in the IRS, a necessary job since somebody needed to collect the money, but nobody wanted to admit they worked for them. Inko having a similar line of thought, didn't think too much about it, since it's not like she's all that honest, with Nemuri. For example, she hasn't introduced her to Izuku yet. But she was a little curious about what her job could be.*
Inko: Well, we are all entitled to our own privacy. It's probably that she's like a garbage woman or something that is seen as embarrassing to say.
Mitsuki:.... what if she's a stripper, or worse? A hooker.
*Mitsuki said, thinking out loud, Why would Nemuri be so embarrassed about admitting how she makes her money. Inko snorted, since that couldn't be the real reason... although that would explain how she has so much experience in the bedroom. But no, no. It was a ridiculous thing to think about, Nemuri was a lot of things but she wasn't a hooker, Inko had met Hookers, before Nemuri just didn't have that air about her. So Inko shook her head, and as she usually does, she corrected Mitsuki in her bigotry.*
