Weirdest Detention of my Life

Elisa POV

I hate my life. All I try to do is stick up for Ariel, and next thing I know, I'm feuding with her new best friend. Well in case you haven't heard, I used to be Ariel's best friend. Oh and a small warning. I'm known for being a rebel. But more on that later, let's focus on what I like to call "The Weirdest Detention in my Life".  

After a long, boring day of high school, I trudged into Principal Lysol's office ready to get through an afternoon of detention. When I got in, I could see everyone arguing, so I do what any normal person would do. I pull up a chair and watch everyone yell. I was watching for about 5 minutes, when Lysol came in. "Can't you go at least a minute without arguing! And why is Elisa the one waiting patiently?" Everyone turned their heads in surprise. In all that arguing they never noticed me. Wow. 

"Anyways, girls, your necklaces." As he layed them out, I noticed something off. All the four necklaces were shimmering, like they been dipped in glitter. As I put my necklace on, I was sucked into a vision. I saw four necklaces, like the ones we were wearing. Fire, earth, water, and air flew in from different directions. A black hooded creature was laughing evilly. Then four orbs, blue, red, white, and green flew to Viara, Nina, Ariel, and Me. The green orb landed in my hand, then vanished. All of a sudden, I was surrounded by a green glow, and I was brought back to the present. I looked next to me and saw the other girls panting for air. Somehow I knew they saw what I saw. Don't ask me how, I just know. 

"Principal Lysol. What was that?!" Nina practically yelled. Nina is normally a nice person, but she can get really angry, really fast. But normally she does not catch on fire.  "Um Nina." Ariel said timidly.
"What!" Nina turned to us, and what we saw was scary. Her eyes were made of fire! Where her eyeballs should be, were disks of fire.
"Your on fire." Ariel continued.
"Wait what?" Nina seemed to realize what was happening and her eyes returned to their normal color.
As she calmed down, a million thoughts rushed in my head. Didn't the red orb fly to her? Doesn't red represent fire? If she has fire power, then what does everyone else have?

"If Nina can control fire, can we three control the other elements?" Ariel voiced my thoughts.

"If I remember correctly, Ariel had white, Elisa had green, and I had blue." Viara said.

"So we should have similar elemental powers." Ariel continued. She then started blowing, resulting in a giant breeze blow everything in the room, including us, to the wall. These girls usually connect elements to Avatar, but they are wrong. This ain't Avatar, this is W.I.T.C.H. I remember how that earth fairy used her powers.  I concentrated and raised my hand slowly. Next thing you know, there's a tree in the middle of Lysol's office. And Ariel is sitting on top of it.

"Um how am I sitting in a tree? I'm supposed to be in detention! Indoors!"
Ariel yelled down at us.

"My fault! I was trying to stop the 80 mile winds!" I yelled back up. I slowly brought my hand down, hoping that the tree would go back into the ground. As I looked at the tree, I saw it went down half way. Ariel jumped down as soon as she saw the tree stopped moving.

"Well, it looks like detention is over. Bye principal Lysol." Ariel said in a rush.

I looked at Lysol and saw that he was frozen in shock.
"Hey!" I yelled. "Who's gonna deal with Lysol?"
Viara pointed her finger at a glass of water on Lysol's desk. She then pointed at Lysol. Where ever she pointed her finger, the water followed. Meaning Viara just threw water on our principal.

"Well girls we need to have a chat about your powers. Meet me here Monday, same time. Tell your parents it's an after school activity." "In the  meanwhile, go to the beach together. Spend some down time." Lysol said calmly.  He was way to calm for a guy who experienced, whatever just happened. We all exchanged looks and left the office quietly.
Looks like we're going to the beach.
