Back at Eddie's room

We both left the cove hand-in-hand and went looking around the rock pools, "ahhh look Eddie! There's a crab!" I said excitedly pointing to a crab in one of the tiny rock pools "I'll get it for you!" Eddie said reaching in to pick up the crab *SNAP* "OW, S***! S***! S***!" Eddie screamed, I started to laugh "Oi! It's not funny! That really hurt!" He said showing me his hand; the crab had pinched his little finger, leaving him with a big cut "Oh no! Eddie I'm sorry! Come over here, I think I have a plaster" I told him concerned, then led him back to where I towels were next to Amanda and Aaron who had gone for a walk. "Come over here you wounded soldier!" I teased him and made him sit down in front of me as I got my mini first aid kit out of my bag "Why do you have a first aid kit in your bag?" Eddie asked me, I could see a corner of his mouth twitching into a smile "hey! My dad makes me carry it! And anyways, if I didn't have it the-" I was cut of by Eddie who said "then you wouldn't of been able to save me and my finger... Your a saviour Sam, what can I do to repay you?" He was teasing me whilst I put a plaster over the cut, once done I said "You could take me back to your room?" I said to him winking "why do you want to go back? Are you tired? Oh no Sam! Do you feel ill? You still need to take your medication!!" Eddie started to fret about "Don't you fret Monsieur Marius... I don't feel any pain" I sang to him tapping him on the nose and kissing his lips softly. I did feel a bit tired but I didn't want him to worry about it "Eddie, I'm fine... Honestly just tired! Anyway we can watch a movie!!" I said to him "Oh ok Sam, anything you want!" He kissed my forehead and started to pack our stuff up "I'll go and find Amanda and Aaron and tell them we are going... One second" I called back to Eddie as I went running into the distance after Amanda and Aaron- I eventually found them sitting on a rock "we are going now, you coming?" I asked Amanda who looked up at Aaron and said "No- not yet, we'll see you later then!" I nodded and ran off back to Eddie who was carrying all the stuff on one arm "oooohhh get you all strong!" I said to him pretending to swoon, he chucked and took my hand, we walked over to the horses and mounted; then we cantered the whole way back- enjoying one another's company.

When we arrived in eddies room I collapsed on the sofa; exhausted! "Sam, do you still want to watch a movie?" Eddie asked "Yeah, let's watch a scary movie!" I said getting up and picking up the scariest looking film ad putting it on, as it started I turned back around and went to sit next to Eddie who had got a blanket out for both of us to share "I warn you- if I wake up screaming in the middle of the night... It's your fault, ok?" He whispered in my ear "it's more likely to be the other way round!" I told him, patting his knee. The movie was terrifying! During some parts I was so scared I had to cuddle into eddies chest and he held me and cradled me like a baby "Sam are you alright?" I heard him ask me, but his voice was getting further and further away- I was falling fast asleep!

Eddie POV-

"Sam are you alright?" I ask Sam gently shaking her shoulder to show her the scary bit was over; but I got no response. I was worried. Was she ill again? Quickly I threw the blanket of both of us and looked at her, she looked like she was sleeping and then she started to snore very quietly "Thank goodness your alright" I said hugging her, I switched off the movie and picked her up and took her through to my bedroom and placed her on my bed- she was still sleeping! I grabbed Aaron's bed and pulled it so that I was next to my bed; then I could be next to Sam. I looked at her sleeping; she looked so peaceful. I fell asleep with pictures of Sam floating through my head.

Sam POV-

I was running through a forest, with Eddie. We were attempting to escape from someone... But who? We held each others hand whilst running but had to separate to go around a tree, I went one way- he went the other.

I came out expecting to see him waiting for me... Instead I saw a dark shadow carrying a limp, lifeless body-Eddie's. I screamed and screamed and screamed and screamed, then collapsed onto the forest floor in a heap; I was uncontrollably crying... My Eddie. Dead.

I suddenly heard a familiar voice "Sam? Sam? SAM?! What's the matter?!" I started to drift away from the forest and back into reality; I was on Eddie's bed and staring into his eyes.

Eddie POV- I am awoken by strange noises... Screaming and Crying! Immediately I opened my eyes and looked around in confusion, but then I saw who was screaming and crying... It was Sam! "Sam? Sam? SAM?? What's the matter?" I asked her wrapping my arms tightly around her and pulling her close to me whilst soothing her gently by humming 'A little fall of rain' . "Eddie- I....Hhhaadd... Aaa... Niighhtmare" she said still crying. To many people- Sam might seem to be a very confident person who isn't very vulnerable, but she is. I knew that making her talk about it could make her feel worse as she would have to relive the moment again, instead I started to rock her gently back and forth, she quietened down as I was doing this; drifting into a deep sleep. Once she was sleeping, I came out of the hug and went to leave the room, so I could sleep on the sofa; she might need some space. Just as I was leaving the room, closing the door as quietly as possible behind myself I heard a cry from Sam

Sam POV- I opened my eyes again, expecting to see Eddie... But I couldn't see anyone! "Eddie! Eddie, where are you?!" I started to cry again... I didn't want him to leave me. He hurried back into the room, coming over to me and sitting right next to me "Oh Sam, I thought you might want some space?!" Eddie said to me looking nervous

"Space? Why would I want space? I need you with me Eddie... I'm scared" I told him and he made no reply; just got into Aaron's bed and allowed me to cuddle into him "I love you" he whispered to me "I love you too" I whispered back to him, then kissed him ever so gently on the lips; just brushing then with mine. We both fell asleep in each other's arms. Together.
