Opening Night

AN- Sorry guys for the slow updates! I was on holiday! :( and I'm sorry if this chapter doesn't really make sense, Wattpad won't let me see my last chapter that I wrote, so I'm not sure where I got up too!! Hahah well anyways enjoy! VOTE AND COMMENT!! xxxxx thank you for reading!

"Eddie I'll go and get you some clothes to change into after the show, ok?" I told Eddie letting go of his hands and getting ready to leave his dressing room "Be quick Sammy, I don't want you to miss our warmups" Eddie said getting up and opening the door for me "will you do my stage makeup as well?" He asked pulling the puppy dog face at me "oh Ed, of course- time me okay? I'll be super fast" I said to him getting into running position "3 2 1 GO!!!!!!" Eddie yelled and I dashed off, I could hear him as I turned the corner "GO MY SUPER SPROUT, RUN.... RUNNNN!!!!!!" He was yelling at the top of his voice, awww how sweet! I reached Eddie's room and opened the door, I ran straight to his closet and pulled open the doors; I thought that he might want fresh everything including underwear so I grabbed him a t-shirt that I bought for him, with a pair of Jack Wills jogging bottoms- his favourite! I slid open his chest of drawers and found a neatly folded jumper which I also grabbed... It gets cold in the evenings so he might want something warm to wear on the walk back to our rooms, I also found a pair of underwear for him... Now what pair of socks?! Hmmm... I went through his drawers again in pursuit of some socks... I know! I'll give him my lucky socks! I shut the drawer and left the stuff in his room then sprinted back into my room and found my lucky socks; they had sprouts on, my sister Kim got me them for whenever I had an audition, but I think Eddie would like them to wear tonight!

Running back into his room I spotted a passport by his bed... That's a bit strange, is he going somewhere? I started to get worried 'Is he going to leave me?' Lots of questions were running through my head. I didn't want to lose Eddie again. 'Stop it Sam, he probably just got it out randomly, it doesn't mean he is leaving you! Now enjoy your night" I told myself, realising that I was being over-dramatic, He would tell me if he had to go somewhere! I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind and grabbed everything then ran back to the theatre.

When I turned the corner I saw Eddie standing there timing me with his watch "how did I do?" I asked him jogging up to him "very fast approximately 7 minutes 36 seconds" he said to me opening the door to his dressing room and sitting me down in his chair, he came over and started fiddling with my hair "Eddie, I'm meant to be doing your make-up and hair.... Not the other way round!!" I told him tapping his hands away and jumping off the chair "now hop up on the chair Mr. Redmayne" I said patting the chair, Eddie jumped up and sat there smiling broadly at me "Sooooo what can I do for you today?" I said putting on an American drawl, making him giggle "well... I need my hair like this" he started explaining showing me a picture "and my make-up like this" he showed me another picture "hmmmm I'll try my best!" I said to him and he pulled me close to him, our noses touching "I know it will look amazing" he murmured then kissed me softly on the lips. I hugged him then pulled away and started to work on making him look as good as possible.

=20 minutes later=

"Voila!" I exclaimed turning Eddie around to the mirror "what do you think?" I asked him, he looked pretty good if I may say so myself

"Sam, thank you! I look amazing!!! The make-up artist wouldn't of done anywhere near this good! Your so good at this!" Eddie said to me standing up and hugging me "ahhh it's alright, I used to do lots if the hair and make-up for my schools production of Grease, I played Rizzo and helped out with the younger kids, so I suppose I got a bit of practise!" I giggled then quickly looked up at the clock "Eddie aren't the warm-ups now?" I asked curiously "Ahhh crumbs!" Eddie said grabbing his water bottle and then grabbing my hand "quick lets run!" He said running out of the room, I was laughing so hard I thought I might pass out, whilst we were running hand-in-hand Eddie looked me inquisitively "what's so funny?" He asked me, causing me to start laughing again "oh Eddie, haha 'CRUMBS'!" I teased him laughing again, he went red and said "my whole family say it haha" then he joined in laughing.

We arrived in the music room just in time, everyone had just had a drink and they were getting into position to start singing, Eddie gave me a quick peck on the cheek causing me to blush ferociously; everyone was watching us "C'mon Eddie we were waiting for you!!!" The pianist called and Eddie hastily apologised then they all started gentle vocal warm ups, I could tell eddies favourite was the 'ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya yaaaaa' one when you had to hold your tongue as well, his whole face lit up when he did it- bless!

"Anyone got any other exercises that are good?!" The pianist asked everyone, people looked around hopefully, Eddie's eyes caught mine and he said "Sam does!!" And he ran over to me and pulled me to the front of the group "everyone this is my girlfriend Samantha Barks and she is an amazing singer and actress" I blushed bright red and everyone went 'ahh' at the girlfriend bit "come on sammy, explain it" Eddie encouraged me, taking my hand "okayyy... Umm, well I make this really annoying cat noise I go 'meow meow meow meow'" I started to do the warm up still blushing, once I finished the group copied me, all trying it out "but it is honestly really annoying.... I mean 'meow meow meow meow' how annoying is that? How annoying is that?" I asked them and in response got a bunch of "no!! It's really good" I grinned from ear-to-ear and Eddie stroked my dimples "that was amazing, they love you" he whispered and made me smile "now you have to go and get your seat... Try to get front row, so that I can always see your face and your smile can light the whole stage up for me... It will start it about 15 in minutes okay? Love you" he said to me then kissed me once on my forehead, once on my nose and one on each cheek, then he reached in for one on my lips but I stopped him saying "no, ed I have to go!!" I smiled at him and went to the door, and before I left- turned around to look at him, he looked crestfallen 'aww bless him' I said to myself then ran back to him and gave him a massive hug, I could feel that he was nervous "don't be nervous, you'll be amazing I promise!" I told him running my hands through his hair making him relax immediately "WAIT! I forgot to give you these!!" I quickly got the socks out and handed them to him "here you are... Good luck socks!!!" I smiled and then left him, he had a huge grin spread across his face.

I grabbed my seat, there was only 5 minutes left to the performance, I was nervous for him but super excited!!

The minutes ticked past,

4...............3................2..............1

The curtains opened and I saw Eddie in the stage in his costume, he opened his mouth to say his first line, after he said it I could see his eyes drifting to where I was sitting and he winked a tiny bit... Only I could see it though. When he went off-stage I relaxed I to my seat... Ready for a spectacular performance.
