Uniqua was really excited knowing that she'd be able to talk to everyone again, especially Pablo. Uniqua started liking Pablo when they were partnered up 2 years ago as dance partners for a section they had to do. The way Pablo danced, how his eyes lit up every time he got a move right, how his voice was smooth like cream when he sang, all these things made Uniqua feel happy and excited that she knew such a great penguin. Even though she felt really excited, she was also really nervous to have a decent conversation with Pablo after all these years. She looked at her light blue dress she was wearing and felt embarrassed.
''Is this good enough for Pablo? Would he like this? Would he like me?'', Uniqua thought.
All of the sudden there was a knock on Uniqua's door. Uniqua's mom opened it to reveal Tasha wearing a golden sun dress.
''Uniqua's mom, hello. Is Uniqua here?''
Uniqua's mom teared up looking at the teenage hippo, who to her seemed like an adult version of the 10 year old she once remembered seeing.
'' Oh Tasha, it's been so long. You are so grown up now! Uniqua's in the bathroom getting ready, she probably wants to see you now.''
''Thanks, I know it's been a while.''
Tasha, to avoid the awkwardness, quickly went upstairs to the bathroom where Uniqua was getting ready. She peaked in the door and saw Uniqua looking down at her dress with a sad expression. Tasha opened the door and Uniqua looked back to see who it was. When Uniqua looked Tasha thousands of memories flushed her mind of her being in the Backyardigans.
''Hey, Tasha.''
''Hi, Uniqua, you look great. Um, you know that people this fabulous shouldn't be hanging out in a backyard?'', Tasha said with playful humor
'' Well you haven't lost that humor of yours I see! Yeah it may be a little too much but I wanna look nice. You know, too please the others.''
''Ok Uniqua, who is he? Austin, Tyrone, Pa-''
''TASHA! Was it that easy I'm trying to look nice for Pablo?''
''Yeah, I mean I kinda shipped you guys for a while.''
''Oh my gosh Tasha that's hilarious. It's just that I don't know if he'll like how I look.''
''What do you mean? You look amazing!''
''I don't know if I'm Pablo material...''
''Uniqua, listen. You have been an amazing person since the day I met you. Don't let your feelings get the best of you. If Pablo can't realize how amazing you are then I will!''
''Wow Tasha, that's deep. We should probably head downstairs to the backyard.''
''Well I mean Pablo covered all of our windows with tarps and said we couldn't see the backyard till 5 so....''
''We should just hang out here then until we can go out I guess.''
