Yohanna looked around the illicit hydro-farm and clucked in concern."Any number of plant viruses could be here already," she said, and ordered the room sealed for fumigation.
Then she bent to search the merchant's pockets for identification.
"What do you think of that?" Yohanna said to Peyton and handed her a badly forged identification card.
"It's fake," Peyton said. "But who would fake identification so they could claim to be Capricorn?" Her mind went unbidden to theFree Mars Colony, where she been forced to pretend to be a Pisces for safety.
"Someone who didn't want their own faction to suffer if they were ever caught," Ivan said. "There is no other I.D. here, and the Capricorns are already unpopular because of the goat virus."
"If the Capricorns get blamed for one thing – why not another?"Doran mused, following Ivan's line of reasoning.
"Exactly!" one of the Yohanna agreed. "This was a good afternoon's work, although I am concerned about the implications."
Yohanna reached out and linked her hand with Ivan's, and suggested that they had retreat to the safety of the Spacebar. Putting all concerns about illegal activities aside, the pair hurried up-ramp to spend a wonderful evening in pleasant conversation. Peyton and Doranfollowed more sedately. Gemini and Pisces both love to talk, and when they get together, they are unstoppable!
