All the news talks about lately is this robbery that took place in Citizens bank. It's splashed all over the paper, the telly, my mum's mouth and everyone else's in Boston. It's the talk of the town; the latest, juiciest gossip.

I think the main reason as to why people seem to be clinging on to the robbery is because it was quite a smart, well thought out robbery. This robbery didn't set off any alarms of any sort, which meant whoever committed the crime must have known the code.

A lot of people were beginning to blame Bruce Van Saun, the new CEO of the bank. Only him and a few other high named accountants knew the codes, and had access to the key that contained all the money.

A lot of people were beginning to stop using that bank, in fear that whoever stole that money would steal their own money.

I understood it, I really did, but it was very irritating to hear the same thing over and over.

The lads and I would always dodge the topic of Autumn. Just everything about her as a whole we didn't even think of. They stopped asking how English was, and how I was doing with that stupid traumatic yet beautiful experience of her kissing me.

How lovely and compassionate she acted just so she could get a good laugh with her mates. It was all just a sick joke. Autumn is awfully dominant; she led and controlled everything.

I was actually incredibly foolish to just believe that she liked me, I mean come on. I don't think Autumn likes anyone to be honest, not even herself. There's something about Autumn that really, really intrigues me.

Why she has built such a strong fence all around her to prevent anyone getting too close is interesting. What happened to her to make her the way she is?

I'm a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. She's the way she is because of something. Someone.

Just because I found her intriguing, didn't mean that I wanted to spend time with her. Whatever happened to her, I'm pretty sure she would never tell me, no matter how close we got.

I'm pretty sure not even the Razors know.

I can't wait for this project or whatever to end. I hate being her partner and I'm pretty sure the feelings are mutual. Ignoring her was probably one of the smartest things I've ever done. No more annoyance, and I had built a zero percent chance that she could hurt me.

Us speaking was one of the very few things that she couldn't dominate. I loved it.

I mean, life is slightly boring, if I'm going to be brutally honest. I loved hearing her constant fights with Mr Homme, and her constant teasing. I missed it, but I was doing the best thing. Maybe not for her, but for me.

I don't know what I am trying to say, if I'm honest.

I hate her but she is intriguing. I dislike spending time with her but she fascinates me.

Too much for my own good.

She can be incredibly irritating but there is an element of surprise, intrigue that I earn whenever she says something because I feel as though everything she says is contributing to me resolving this gigantic puzzle inside a maze called Autumn.

Why am I so fascinated? That's a question yet to be answered.

"So Al," Matt asks. "How are things with you?"

I rub the back of my neck. "All good."

Matt tilts his head to the side. "You can tell me anything, mate."

"I know I can. I trust you and the lads with everything, I just. I don't know. I've been avoiding Autumn for such a long time, but I kind of-"

"Miss talking to her," Matt finishes for me.

"Yeah," I nod. "How did you catch on so fast?"

"We're smarter than you think, Turner," Matt smiles, showcasing those award winning dimples. I didn't have to have a crush on him to appreciate those beautiful shits.

"Damn right we are," Jamie says, walking towards us and joining us on the table.

"How'd yer think you could hide this from us, la?" Miles asks.

"What am I hiding?" I ask, pretending to be confused.

"That you're missing talking to Autumn!" Nick shouts.

"Dial it down! Autumn may be gorgeous but she isn't deaf, mate," Matt states.

"Thank you," I smile.

"Can you talk without flirting with Matt, Alex?" Nick says, rolling his eyes.

"Please," I laugh, "everyone knows the only eyes I have are for Miles," I say, and blow him a kiss.

Everyone laughs as Miles winks back at me.

"Seriously though," Jamie pleads.

"What?" I question.

"Open up, would yer?" Miles says, rolling his eyes.

"There's nothing to say," I state bitterly.

"Come on," Matt says.

"Please," Nick begs.

"You know you can trust us," Jamie speaks.

"We are your bezzies," Miles adds.

"You and your bezzies," Matt laughs.

"You know how you're closest to Miles?" Jamie asks.

I nod.

"Just tell him, then," Jamie advises.

"So he can tell you lot?" I laugh. "Look, do you all want to know that much?"

They all nod eagerly.

"Look. I don't know what to do. If I talk, there's more of a chance that she'll mess with me."

"I think it's about time someone messed with her," Nick says, folding his arms.

"Like who?" I laugh.

"You," They all say.
