"Me? You want me to mess with Autumn? That's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard," I laugh, not believing these guys at all.

"We can find a way to be one step ahead of her," Nick retorts.

"No one is one step ahead of Autumn," I say, stating the obvious.

"Well you need to become Autumn," Matt says.

"That sounds perfectly logical," I say sarcastically.

"Alex! Come on-"

I exhale. "This just gets stupider and stupider by the second."

"No it don't,Al," Miles replies.

Great. They're all on this: together. "Just think about it," Jamie persuades.

"Think about what? I'm not here to fuck her up, nothing in the world could do that! " I shout.

"You don't know that," Matt replies.

"I don't know that?" I laugh sarcastically, "Literally everyone knows that."

"Stop being so negative, oh my God," Nick says, running his hands through his hair.

"I'm not," I exhale, "Right, Miles?" I say, thinking Miles had my back.

"Come ed, Alex. Yous dun kun until yous try,"Miles says.

This is so fucking stupid that I can't even believe that we're talking about this. "Look guys, she could have run over three cars and four trucks and she'd still be alright!"

"No one is really ever made of steel," Jamie says wisely.

"No one apart from Autumn," I retort.

"Please, Alex," They all say.

"Why do you guys want me to do this so badly?"

"Because she hurt you, a lot. You might have not said it, but we could all tell. She's never going to know how that feels till she goes through it herself," Matt says softly.

"Why'd you think that a seventeen year old boy can destroy her?" I ask, hopefully being the last thing about this 'topic'.

"I don't think can-"

"Then why are you guys making me do this?" I say, screaming out of frustration because we just seemed to go in loops all day.

"Because maybe your love can."

"Lads, I really, really hope that you're joking right now. I really don't have energy for this right now. What you're saying and trying to comply is-"

"Why don't you shut up, and listen to us? What do we think about that lads?" Jamie asks everyone, and they all nod.

Fantastic.

"Look. I know why you don't want to do this, and it makes sense, okay? But what doesn't make sense is why you don't want to hurt her the way she did to you. We can be sly with this, Al. We all do this together. Not just for you, but all the other people she's hurt. We don't know what she's capable of, but you need to do this."

I shake my head. "I've got to go."

Leaving Miles' house, I exhale deeply. I did not expect our usual Friday nights to end up like this; never in a million years. Am I going to go so low that I intentionally hurt her. just because of what she did to me? Am I really going to do that? Is that really how bad my morals are?

But another side was telling me that this was right; that I was actually going to gain something from this. What am I going to gain? Nothing. What am I going to lose? Nothing. So there's no point in anything really.

I rather just please them and get nothing from them, rather than disobey them and obtain their constant nagging.

An unknown person crosses the street. "Can I ask you something?" I blurt. What am I doing? What am I trying to do?

"Sure," the unknown woman says back. I know she's a woman from her voice, as she still has not turned around.

"Would you intentionally hurt someone? Like do you think it's a bad thing?" I ask.

I can hear her smirk through her voice. "Not without reason," she retorts, and then she's gone.

Maybe this stranger's words were the kick to my decision. I run back into Miles' flat, rushing to door number 69.

Reaching out for his key, that was placed somewhere in the unknown depths of my pocket, I smashed it through the keyhole, breathing heavily.

"Alex," Miles breathes.

Jamie, Nick and Matt all turn to face me. "Please, Alex," Jamie starts.

"You can thank us later," Nick smiles.

"One day you'll be grateful for us," Matt continues.

"I hope so," I reply, and their eyes widen. "Because I'm doing this."
