Here we are :O
Rydel Lynch
"Mr. Ratliff, we've been given state orders to move Miss Lynch..." I started shaking. Move where? Somewhere worse?
"Why? We were told we were done moving her!" His anger instantly shot up. I could see it. He didn't like it when these doctors tried to play with me.
"Yes sir," The nurse answered shakily, "But it's an emergency..."
"Why?" we asked in unison.
"Riker and Rocky Lynch have escaped from prison, and the police believe they're coming here for her."
"Where are they sending me, Ell?" My voice was soft. I didn't want to leave like this. I wanted to leave, to go off and get married. Not sent somewhere else. I laid on my bed in my room, it was the first time they'd let him back here. He could see the tiny room me and my roommate were crammed in a majority of the day.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited, though. Riker and Rocky were free... Anyone else would be terrified. I'm willing to bed that mom and dad were shitting theirselves with the news. It was no secret how pissed off Riker and Rocky were at them. But a tiny sliver of me hoped I would see them, if only for a second. Last time I saw them I was in a bed, hovering between life and death.
But I was getting better. As much as I wanted to see them, I didn't want Ellington to see anything else happen to me. I've tried to kill myself, two of my alters wouldn't mind if he or anyone else in my family ended up dead. He deserved to know I was okay. That we were okay. Was that so much to ask for him?"
"I don't know angel. Somewhere safer..."
"Somewhere where they lock the really crazy people up." He took my hand, shaking his head.
"I won't let them do that to you."
"Won't you just take me home?" I asked, softly, "You can do it. I'll come back.... I don't want to go anywhere else...."
"Delly..." He sighed, but he nodded, "We'll go home, and get married too. I promise. But as soon as they find Riker and Rocky, you gotta come back. Okay?" I nodded, happily. I gave him a quick kiss and he patted my knee before he left to talk to the doctors.
Finally, I was going home.
Riker Lynch
Six months I was in that prison, and it took me six months longer than I wanted it to. But finally, we broke out. Rocky and I were able to double team a few of the guards late one night, and we haven't looked back since then.
We were at a loss of what to do first, first we stole a car, and then after a while we stole another one. Making our way back to LA was tedious, but we had to get Rydel and get the hell out of California. We weren't leaving her behind again, and we'd take Ellington too if we had to. Rocky got back in contact with his mystery person and Jess, and we were arranging a safe house in Tennessee. Getting new identities for all of us.
And settling this game once and for all.
The cover is to come :) thanks again to arefive for helping me with that :)
