I'm home and sick as hell. Yay. I'm posting this and then going to bed. Sucks though because I was gonna work on Rocky, the Latte Boy. Really excited to sleep in my own bed though.

Riker Lynch

You never really know how hard it is to remain inconspicuous until you have no choice but to be just that. Before, Rocky would have no problems running lights and speeding. Now, he followed the letter of the driving law. We didn't want to caught yet. Well, not at all really. Every single police officer in the state of California no doubt had our picture and orders to find us dead or alive. So that meant not calling attention to ourselves.

Like our plan to get Rydel. Of course they think that's where we're going. We've watched the news, listened to the radio. They all think that's where we're going first. But it's not. That would be stupid. They're expecting us, and I would be surprised if we showed up and she was still there. So we had to wait, be patient. Then figure where she was and catch them off guard. We were determined not to make the same mistakes, like showing up at Rydel's bedside shortly after a suicide attempt. If prison had taught us anything, it was patience. I had been waiting to die, and Rocky had been waiting for parole, even though we all knew he wouldn't get it. Who would let a serial killer go? Charles Manson would never get parole, and if we were caught neither would Rocky.

"We need to ditch the car soon," Rocky said, "I'll go pick up a new tag and we can get us a new car. Maybe a Hyundai?" I chuckled. I think his favorite part about running was the cars we got to drive. I know his goal was a Camaro or something else those rich people drive, but we were going with inconspicuous. Though I know he wouldn't mind getting his hands on another Jeep.

"That's fine. You go meet your mysterious contact and I'll get food. In-N-Out sound good?" He nodded, dropping me off at the curve. I kept my head down, going in and getting my old favorite. God, it was delicious. If I do ever make it to the executioner, this would be my last meal. No doubt about it. Jail food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't In-N-Out.

I stayed to myself, not talking to anyone. That was until a certain blonde sister of mine came in with Ellington. She looked happy and elegant, also looked like she gained a bit of weight. Which was good, last I saw her she was a stick figure. I could see the diamond ring on her finger. Figures, they're perfect together. I listened to them, not saying anything to alert them of my presence.

"I can't believe they let you take me..." she was saying happily, "And you promise we'll get married before I have to go back?" Ell chuckled.

"I promised you, didn't I? We're going to the courthouse in two days. It's all set. and when you're out of there for good we'll have the wedding of your dreams," She nodded happily. I can't remember the last time I saw her this happy. Obviously before we started the game.

"I love you," She whispered. I heard him whisper back  an 'I love you too' before they kissed. I turned away from seeing that, because ew, but I did hear her go on,
"It just doesn't feel real. I didn't think they'd actually agree to me leaving while the police look for my brothers."

"How do you feel about them being out, Del? Dr. Alexander is a tad bit worried about how you, and your alters, will feel once the police catch them." I snorted. Like they could. Rydel let out a deep sigh, her shoulders slouching slightly.

"I know I can't see them, but I want to. I just really don't want them to get hurt, or in more trouble. Though it seems like that is inevitable now." He nodded sadly, handing her her fries and shake. I debated on saying something, but I wasn't sure how Ellington would react. Instead, I waited till he left to go to the restroom. I didn't say anything to Rydel, rather I gave her a pat on the shoulder, making sure she saw it was me, before stalking out the door and waiting for Rocky. She never followed, which was probably a good thing.

"She's in there with Ellington, dude." I said to Rocky as we drove off. He nodded. "They're getting married. What do you say we crash?" He shook his head.

"Too flashy. Making a big scene will only get us into trouble, Riker. But after the wedding, we could try something. Isn't she supposed to be at that place anyways?" I shrugged.

"Sounds to me like they have her out so he can hide her from us." Rocky rolled his eyes at that. As if he could. Besides, with how many times he helped us before prison, it was a shock to me that he wasn't in jail too, much less that they were trusting him. Like when he let us see her in the hospital without calling the cops. The only way I figured him not getting arrested out of that was out of sympathy for Rydel, at least on Detective McEnroe's part.

"As if he could. We'll be at least on the way to Tennessee by this time next week." I nodded.

"What did mystery man say?" I asked, changing the subject. He shrugged.

"New IDs for everyone, two plates, social security cards, and a new Discover Card. We're set, I can always get him to send us more later, too."

"Rocky, serious, who is this guy and what are we paying him?"

"You'll find out, Riker. That's all I'm going to say."
