So working two jobs is no joke. I am EXHAUSTED! And I start school next week. When will I sleep? Because I'm going to do my best to keep these stories updated!
"Where the hell have you been, Riker?" Ellington yelled when Rydel and I walked in from dropping Vic off, "No text or anything?"
"Chill dude," I said, "You should know by now that I won't hurt her."
"Do I?"
"Oh shut up. She's my sister."
"Family didn't stop you from murdering your parents in front of your brothers," He quipped back. My eyes flashed. He did not just go there. In a moment, I had him pinned against the wall. He seemed shocked, but I don't see why. We both know the only reason I tolerate him is because he takes good care of Rydel and because she loves him so much.
"They were no parents to me or her," I said, "They would have gladly let her die and you know that. But you know how much I love Rydel and that I wouldn't let anything happen to her."
"Then why the hell is she here, Riker?" Ellington yelled, "Why is she here and not at Northcreek where she can be getting better and healing? You may think you care about her, but bringing us here was incredibly selfish. You and Rocky only care about yourselves."
"You're lucky I love her too much to kill you," I said, "Get the hell out of my sight. She's upstairs in her bed, but she won't want to see you. Karina isn't into guys. She's probably calling Amber right now." Ellington groaned.
"Do not think for a moment I won't tip the police off if you allow her to get hurt," He warned, "Because she needs help. You didn't have to be the one to find her when she tried to kill herself. I don't ever want to see her like that again." I let him go, unwilling to kill him tonight. I couldn't have an upset sister. She was already unpredictable, who knows how unpredictable she could be when she was that upset.
I journeyed up to my room and laid on the bed. I was a bit confused. Vic was means to an end, and having her becoming my girlfriend was essential to the plan. So why then did I feel as happy as I did? I didn't want to catch feelings for her, but she was pretty fun to hang out with. And she was really pretty...
My phone lit up in that next second, the woman in question texted me.
Vic: hey! You know my friend Priscilla, she wants to meet Regina! Maybe we could have dinner tomorrow.
I grinned to myself. Yes. Absolutely I did. This was working. I just had to remind myself that Vic was only a way to get to Priscilla, but I could enjoy it while it lasted.
Riker: Sure. What time and where?
Vic: 6 and I'll text you directions in the morning! Bring your fam too if you want! I had a good time tonight. 😘
Riker: I did too. Goodnight, beautiful. We'll be there tomorrow.
I smiled to myself, everything was going so well. I knew Ell wouldn't like me getting Rydel tangled in all of this, but I wasn't even going to pretend to care. He could go with us if he really wanted, but the thought of Karina flirting with Priscilla in front of him made me smile to myself. Hopefully she was still Karina.
With that thought in mind, I went to sleep.

Priscilla Parker's mansion was so much more than I ever would have thought. It was nicer than Paul Johansson's, and at the time I figured the only place nicer than that home was the Palace of Versailles.
"Damn, bro," Rocky said to me, "Security is going to be tight."
"I love a challenge," Ryland whispered. I smirked to myself. Tonight wasn't the night, but we were scoping the place out. All of us were going, Ross had even brought Vivienne. She was a nice enough girl, if not a little clingy, but Ross liked her so good for him, I guess.
I pulled my FJ cruiser right next to Victoria's mustang, and I helped Rydel out of the car. Ellington glared at me as he took her hand, but said nothing.
"Hey Aiden," Vic exclaimed, running outside and hugging me. I chuckled and gave her a kiss, causing Rocky and Ryland to quirk an eyebrow. I hadn't told them that we were as official as we could be yet.
"Hi beautiful," I said.
"You brought everyone!" She explained, "Cilla will love that!"
"Sup," Rocky said, "I'm Taylor. That's Charlie and Derek, Derek's girlfriend Vivienne."
"And this is my fiancé, Jackson." Rydel said lovingly, I fought the urge to roll my eyes. They were too much sometimes.
"I'm Victoria," She smiled, "Cilla and I are so glad you're here! She's been pestering me to introduce her to you, Aiden, and I know she'll love you guys. Especially Regina! Come on!"
The inside of the house was grander than the outside, and I found myself in a living room the size of our old apartment in LA. I'm pretty sure the ranch we live on now could fit in this house twice.
"I'll go get Cilla! Make yourself comfortable, Jenna will get anything you need," Vic said, running up the stairs.
Rocky, Ryland, I smirked at each other. For the first time in forever, it was really game on
