TIFFANY’S POV:

Empty.

That’s the word people use to describe me.

I have been this way ever since I lost my best friend and sister. I am just an empty shell of the girl I used to be, and I have no one to blame but myself. I bought this all on myself and I can’t take it back.

‘Luna, are you OK?’ one of the pack members ask, and I realise I was day dreaming

‘Sorry’ I mumble and look down, at my small baby bump

Austin walks in and the ladies all get up and leave, saying a polite hello to him on their way out. I get up and head into the kitchen, he follows closely behind. We haven’t talked much since Arianna left, there is nothing left to say.

‘How’s the baby?’ he asks, like every other day, and like every other day I give him the same answer

‘Fine’

‘She’s in Paris’ he blurts out and I freeze

‘Who?’ I whisper, already knowing his answer

‘Arianna’

‘How do you know?” I ask

‘I called William and he said that he was in Paris with her’ he explains and my eyes light up

 ‘Really? So if she forgave him, then she will talk to me!’ I say happily and he watches me sadly

‘He didn’t sound like a guy whose mate is speaking to him’ he whispers and my smile falls from my lips and I rub my hand over my stomach

‘I need to go lie down’ I mumble and turn to leave the room

‘Tiff’ he whispers and I stop ‘what’s happened to us?’ he asks and tears fill my eyes

‘We made a mistake, that cost us one of the most beautiful people on earth’ I take a deep breathe ‘and now karma has bit us in the arse, hard’ I walk out of the kitchen, tears streaming down my face

I head into my room and sit down on the bed, my head in my hands. I miss Arianna so much! It killed me to see her so happy with that Serenity girl. I was so jealous of her! She was stealing my best friend away from me! Then I realised. I pushed Ari away, I was the reason she got a new best friend and forgot all about me.

I can’t believe I said those horrible things to her! I flashback to the day that I lost my best friend and sister, right after I ran from the room:

‘Tiffany wait!’ Austin yells after me, but I just keep running

I run straight to our room and start throwing everything in sight, in a fit of rage.  How dare she steal my mate! Why would she do that?! I thought she was my best friend, my sister and then she goes and has his child. What did I ever do to deserve this? And she has Will! Oh god Will is going to be crushed!
