The Awakening Part 5

It was late at night and the sun is high in the air. I could see the half moon gracefully stretching the night sky through the air. There in the corner of my eye I could see my opponent gracefully wave their weapon at me. At the moment of impact, I moved smoothly to the side. Then another opponent came towards and again I moved to the side as if I glided on ice to safely. Then I looked through the mist of the forest to see a large rock come from the mist after her. Samantha quickly does split to counter the attack. Them she quickly gets up, runs through the mist to a man, and slaps him.
"What the hell Jun I know your strong and you want to help but if I didn't do cheerleading in middle school then I would not ever dodge that damn what the hell wrong with you", said Samantha.
"What I thought you said that you want me to train you like we are in a battle situation. I just thought we make it like the danger room and go all out it not like it was throwing it hard or anything. I wanted you to dodge it. I just want you to be ready if something happens. From what you have told us you need all the help you can get if you wanna survive this", said Jun
"Jun Jesus Christ you act like she like me. You know she not good at stuff like this. You need to treat her with kid gloves. For god sakes it not like it me who has a police officer for a father. Why don't you just work on hand to hand stuff for now ok", said Nivea.
"She doesn't have time for this and anyway that why she has the ax so she does little hand to hand any way. Isn't that why you brought your sticks to work with her right", said Jun.
"I did but I want her to be ready for things when they come up what if she loses the weapons in battle she needs to be able to defend herself then. We need to train her for the what if not you know. We just can't assume that a fight will be played fair", said Nivea.
"Fine Nivea why don't you train her for a while", said Jun.
Nivea shock her head at Jun at turn to me. Her hair was somewhat long with the back of her hair longer then the rest. She had bangs in the front and curls in her hair. She had on a sweat short outfit and Guess shoes on that was the color black. She had pink Hello Kitty laces on them. She moved low to the ground. Then she looked directly at me.
"Now Samantha I want you to come at me today were going to learn counters. Counters can help when an opponent is larger or stronger then you. I'm going to teach you to side step and break bones at the same time. First, you need to know how to pull your weight forward instead of back. Many wrestlers move their weight in the back to make their opponent move with them with their force. What you are going to do is you are going to make them hurt themselves with your force combined with theirs by pushing all their weight them and nothing on you. This is done by forcing the person instead moves they did not intend to do. While it may look hard to do at first what you need to see how to move forward. Always remember to never let your opponent know where you are going this is called a tell. What you are going to do is learn to read theirs and erase yours at the same time. The first is never look at your opponent movements. A good fighter always knows that their eyes tell where their going not their movements. The second thing is to hide yours. That by always moving in the direction of theirs eyes go where their going with your hands if you are moving feet and the same goes on. It gives the impression that your tin two places it confuses your opponent makes your movements hard to read by the person. You must never have a common movement always move with the enemy not with your comfort zone. You can't stand still", said Nivea.
"So with all that talk are we going to get to the fighting part god girls take forever to get to the good part", said Jun.
"Fine, I will. Here, come toward Jun Sam. I want you to feel something. Jun I want you to take your shirt off", said Nivea.
Jun took off his shirt his muscles although small rippled in the moonlight of the park. Sam looked down for a moment as her and Nivea walked over. She then held her hand to his back and started to talk in her.
Nivea whispered in her ear "you know when he first took his shirt off in my room I looked just like you blushing but you know once you're through this stage everything else is a piece of cake".
Samantha moved her hand away from her back and held it in her hand in disbelief. Her mouth was open as she started to speak.
"Are you trying to tell me something", said Sam.
Nivea smiled and said, "Just kidding you are such a little kid. Can't you take a joke"?
"Well you girls having fun being perverse if your done let get back to the fighting practice shall we, said Jun.
"Fine Jun now let look at his back if you see all our body are comprised of joints and muscles they combine together for us to move but hit in the right way it can make us not move that how you break someone by making your body stop working. Your bones work like a bridge at the two ends they are strong but the middle of each bone is the weak part always hit there. If you have, the chance hit the place in the middle of the joining of the bone. It can sometimes be hard since you will be moving but hitting there will make the difference. Another good thing like a said before making the body work for you. If a direct it is too hard then make it a two combo. First grab the person make there joint stretch by a hold like any other that I will show you then as it is stretch then hit a vital organ or bone that they need to move. There nothing wrong with fighting dirty, the point of every fight is to live to the next one", said Nivea.
After about three hour of looking over the basic moves then going over some basic and advanced holds with Sam. They all decided to go home for the night. The next day would be the first day back to school so they wanted to be ready for it. They all agreed that over the next two weeks they knew they would not get any sleep. Sam walked off in the distance as Nivea and Jun held back for a second to talk.
"You know what Nivea I can't believe you wanted to bring that up with her right now. Must you push it in her face you know how innocent she is? This isn't the time for this right now", said Jun.
"Well what is I'm not a little girl any more but I can't tell her because you don't want to hurt her feelings. My god sometimes I think you love her not me. She has to learn about it any way. You know there nothing wrong with sex", said Nivea.
"I just want her to immature a little that all there a lot of things we all need to grow to learn about all of us. I just think after you get to know me more that then you should tell her", said Jun.
"There in this world that would make me change my mind about you. You're the first and last man that I want to be with. This isn't puppy love for me. If it was, I would never have slept with you. I just want you to believe me about that ok", said Nivea.
She then walked over, brushed the hair from Jun face, then got on tip of her toes, kissed Jun on his lips, and then walked off in the distance toward her house. He then walked a little bit, looked at the moon light shook his head a little, and then walked home after her. Nivea walked home and saw her sister on the steps on her house.
"What up sis why are you u late", said Samantha.
"I'm waiting on you I guess waiting for you o tell me the truth tell me what my father doesn't want to tell me", said Novella.
"What are you talking about", said Samantha.
"What I'm talking about is this whole vampire thing I hear it all ad I think it all bull there no such thing. Our mother would never hurt us. The person that killed our grandfather was a crazy not some distant cousin that we have been fighting for years. You need to tell me the truth you need to stop lying to me ok you need to tell the truth", said Novella.
"I am we all are you needed to accept this ok I know that you're very young but you need to accept that you have a destiny like I do that different then what we envisioned for ourselves. I know you wanted to be a scientist but you need to understand that you need to help with this. You just need to accept this", said Samantha.
"How can I expect you to understand you don't know anything about your own friends", said Novella.
"Oh what that there having sex I've known since it started they been trying to hide it for a while although I may look like a fragile little girl I know in my heart I'm more then that. I think all my life I had to play this role for people the pretty little girl that everyone can take advantage of but there come appoint where you can't play the role that people want for you. I just don't want to be someone to have to be saved anymore I want to save somebody. I want my friends to respect me and not hide things from me. I know that I am not what you say is a girl that can handle everything, but I want to be. All I'm saying is that I've been running all my life. I just don't want you to be the same", said Samantha.
Her sister moved over and hugged her close to her. Small droplets of tears smelled on Samantha face and then fell onto Novella face and head as she hugged her. Samantha moved a second and rubbed the tears from her face. She then rubbed them from her sister face and head.
"Yo know people may start saying that your not a bitch any more if they saw you like this you know your rep would really be hurt for hugging your prom queen sister", said Samantha.
"Well I give you this I'll be a scientist and help on this end you help on this end with fighting. They may be able to get a prom queen to fight but not me. I get too hot and the sun kills me", said Novella.
"I guess you got a deal but always keep in touch ok. I will always protect you ok. No matter what ok. As your big sister I promise that you will always know that I will go to hell and back for you ok", said Samantha.
"Well let go inside brave warrior dad probably up waiting for you inside ok", said Novella.
"They went inside for a night. One week past and Samantha muscles have changed drastically over time. Through weight lifting every day and working every night with her friends and her father. Se learns the axe and learns new moves every day. She grows more and surer of her self and soon the two weeks are almost up. She goes to school that Thursday, the day before she must fight her grandfather. She sits there in her school uniform. It is a red skirt and long socks with the sexton school signature on the top with brown shoes. She also wears a red and white coat over her white shirt, which also has the signature of the school on it. Across from her is Nivea and Jun. Since he is a boy, he wears a pants with his uniform something girls can only wear in the wintertime and on Fridays. The teacher in the distance talks about the math equation that their doing today. Samantha in the corner looks out of the window. There in the far corner of the field she saw a man looking toward her then she notice she had a cloak on. Her heart started to race. As she saw, the person come closer and closer to the window. She tried to get somebody to hear her but her voice was gone. She tried to move but she could not. All she could do was watch as he moved more and move closer to her. Then finally through the window of her first story room. She tried to get someone to help her buy all of her class just sat there looking ahead. Never moving always facing their heads toward anywhere but ahead. She felt helpless as he raised his head and grabbed her head and pushed her head sideways and revealed her neck to him. She struggled and struggles but nothing could stop him. As he sank his teeth into her. Then all of sudden she heard a loud thud.
"Miss Grafton what are you doing sleeping in the class", said Samantha teacher.
"I'm sorry Miss Friedman I will not go to sleep again", said Samantha.
"Well that fine just remember ok", said Miss Friedman.
The day for Samantha seemed to go so fast and another day pasted until the night was here for Friday. Then with her axe in her hand, she walked into the graveyard and into his destiny.
