Chapter 15

Hey guys! 

Sorry for being gone so long but life has a funny was of changing things.  I'm so happy you guys like the story and sorry for all the grammar mistakes I make lol.  Low-key love when you guys point it out.  

This chapter is short but I'll make sure to keep posting this time don't worry.  I can't believe this story has 43.4k people have read The Runaway Twin!!! It's so crazy to me. Anyways I hope you guys continue reading and I'll continue writing :) 

Victoria's POV: 

Okay you can do this. All you need to do is keep up this Victoria business and now that you've gotten use to keeping this act up it feels like this is where I'm suppose to be in life. Nothing to worry about just breath as I talked to myself looking in the mirror. I can do this.

I grabbed my backpack and and got my books together to head off to class with the girls. Turns out the way they figured out roommates at the school is they look at where you live, what classes your taking and what interests you. So obviously with how good we were all getting along the school does a good job at matching up people. Maybe if I want a boyfriend I should go to them and ask who to go on a date with. haha who knows

"Are you guys ready to got to class?"

"yeah lets go"

"yeah don't want to be late the first day" 

"Besides we all have to go to the auditorium first for welcome assembly"

"yeah lets go so we can get good seats."

We all gathered in the auditorium and it really puts into perspective how many people want a dream like mine. But out of all of us in this auditorium who really knows who will reach their dream. I mean that's why it's called a dream right? Something we hope and work towards that will hopefully become a reality and not be a dream anymore. Let's hope me and my friends are some of the lucky ones that have that come true. 

The lights in the room lower and the stage lights turned on an the curtain was raised. Out stepped a young women who looked to be in her 30s. She had a microphone in her hand as well as other teachers stepped out with her. 

"Welcome students. My name is principle Jacobs. Your probably all wondering why do we have this welcome assembly and the reason is because we like to encourage our students to works hard and strive to be the best possible version of themselves. I just want to say all of you have worked hard to get here and we admire you all for that. But I'm not going to lie to you, school will become challenging and we want all students to have good grades as well as 

...

If your wondering how a performing arts we all attend regular classes in the morning and then go to our performing arts classes later in the day. Luckily all my normal classes are done and now starts the fun part of school here. 

"Are you excited about this class" Chrissy asked

"Yeah I love singing so hopefully this class is fun" I said before the teacher came in. 

In case you were wondering me and Chrissy, Jasmine and Christina are all in the same singing class. It's great because we all get to spend more time together and even though were all really close with each other we haven't really heard each other sing but all of use can because that's part of the reason we all ended up at this school. 

"Hello my name is Mr. Johnson, but you all may refer me to as Mr. J.  I this class we will be working on stage performance, song writing and overall what can set you apart from other people in music.  At the end of the semester we will have a concert showcasing all you have learned.  I will be inviting a special guest to the performance and the acts they like the post will be able to train with them to further improve their craft." 

Victoria:  "That's so cool"

Chrissy: "I know! I wasn't sure about the teacher but it seems like he will really be able to help us"

Mr. Johnson:  "I'm going to let you all out early for the first day so you can all think about a song you would like to perform for this week.  It's up to you all if you want to perform individually since you all will be graded separately.  I want to see what you all can improve on for the year by performing a song you really like this week.  It can be any song, even one you have wrote.  If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them.  My contact is on the syllabus I gave you all so don't hesitate to ask.  I'm here to help you. 

Victoria POV:

Walking out of class I already have in mind a song I wrote over the summer that I find personal to me.  The only thing is I've never practiced it out loud so I don't really know how it sounds.  I wrote it while being away from home and was going to share it with my family when I got back but I never got the chance to do it in person. I guess it's a good time as any to try it out for this class.  I just hope I don't mess it up. 

Chrissy: "So I'm guessing we all are just going to be look up songs to perform for this class when we get back to the dorms"

All: "You got that right"

We all walked back to the dorm excited and nervous about our performance class.  This is going to be a fun but most likely stressful year for us.  This school means business for sure.
