Chapter 16

Luke POV:

School actually hasn't been that bad since I meet Calum. I've even been getting better at guitar and school hasn't been to bad...yet.

The only thing that kind of bugs me is Calum also hangout with this other guy named Michael. I mean not that I'm jealous or anything but it kind of bugs me. Okay I do admit that I sounded like the jealous and clingy girlfriend but I mean I can't help it.

Luke:"Hey Calum" I said as I saw him walk up to me.

Calum:"Hey Luke. Look I was wondering if you wanted to hangout with my friend Michael and I today after school?"

Luke: "I don't know Calum.  I don't think him and I would get along"   

Calum:"Don't be stupid. You guys are both so stubborn.  I'm friends with both of you and want to stop splitting my time between the two of you when all three of us can hangout. Okay?"

Luke: "yeah sure I guess. I'm doing this for you. I still think your wrong though."

Calum:"yeah, yeah, yeah... Will see about that."

Later at Calum's house 

Calum:"Okay! So what do you guys want to do?"

Luke and Michael: both were silent "I don't know"

Calum POV 

These two are acting like children. I know they can get along if they both would just try.  What is something all three of us can do... Hmm I looked around my room watch tv? guitar? no that's dumb they won't even look at each other. watch tv and then I thought video games was the easiest thing at this point

Calum: "Let's play video games!"

Michael: "I'm down! Get ready to lose cause this is my sport right here"

Luke:"Yeah right let's see what you got Clifford"

After hours of playing video games they were laughing, joking and talking like they had been best friends for years.  It was weird how Luke and Michael can go from hating each other to becoming friends so easy.  All along Calum was right but neither of them would tell him that to give him the satisfaction of know he was right.

*Back in London

All the girls went back into their rooms and started focusing on what each of them were going to perform.  They hand no idea except Victoria, but her song needed some help.  They were all looking up different songs on their laptops and Vic realized she needed a piano to practice.  Some of the building to the school were still opened so she thought to start there.

Victoria: "Hey guys I'm going out for a little bit tonight okay? Don't wait up"

All:"okay! have fun and be safe"

Victoria: "I will! I'll call you guys if anything goes wrong don't worry" 

Victoria POV:

I had all the stuff I needed in my back pack like lyrics laptop, video camera, etc. I wanted to work out all the kinks in the song tonight.  I'll make it happen one way or another.  I just still wasn't sure if I was ready to share my originally music so early in the semester. I guess I just give it a try and see what the professor says. I walked in the music room that had a piano and set up the camera and then took a seat.

Victoria:"okay! I can do this. It's just  practice run. If anything I can have a back up song just in case I get cold feet." 

I set up the camera and started playing. 

"Take 1, Your the Reason Why by Victoria Justice"

And in that moment I just started getting lost in the music. I just started singing louder and with more passion.

"Now no matter what it is I have to do, I'm not afraid to try

And you need to know that you're the reason why..." 

I feel like I got his whole thing figured out.  I didn't realize when I was playing that I was crying.  But it's okay. It't doesn't show that I'm weak but that I want to share my story with the world. Writing this song helped me get the closure I needed.  I'm ready to get on the stage this week and perform this song.  I really just don't want to cry in front of the class.  I got up and turned the camera off and packed everything up to go back to the dorm. All the girls were asleep so I tried to be as quite as possible.  I changed and got ready for bed but then I heard a voice.

Chrissy: "Hey is everything okay?"

Victoria: "Yeah I' fine don't worry about it!"

Chrissy: "If you say so...  Just know I'll always be here if you need anything"

Victoria:"Thanks! I really appreciate it"

Chrissy:" Goodnight Victoria"

Victoria:"Goodnight Chrissy"
