I walked in with my hands spread wide, welcoming Miles.

This has been my beautiful crib since... ya know. Five years ago.

"So, your parents make a lot of da cash, huh?" Miles said, as he made a three-sixty and started to wander. I punched him on the arm, aggravated slightly by the fact he thought he was being cool.

"Imma take that as a 'yes'." He smirked all while saying it.

'Smartass' I thought as I entered the kitchen, Miles trailing behind me. Our kitchen, is my heaven. An island, with bar seats, is in the middle of the room, surrounded by... kitchen stuff. I went straight to the fridge, while Miles sat on one of the bar stools and started doing homework. I grabbed turkey, mayonnaise, cheese, other sandwich delectables and bread. I made my sandwich, sat next to Miles, and peered over his shoulder.

Math. Huh. You know what, I'm actually pretty good at this subject.

So, I know enough that Miles was doing the equations ALL WRONG.

I guess I was leaning really close to him, because all of a sudden, Miles was looking at me with a slight reddened face. His eyes were literally saying 'Why the bloody hell ARE YOU LEANING SO FUCKING CLOSE?'. I smiled widely at him, moved back, and took another bite of my beautiful sandwich.

"You wanted to intimidate me, didn't you?" Miles asked, shaking his head. I shrugged, and nodded my head, still smiling.

You were doing the homework so I wanted to see. Do you know that you're doing the math wrong? No? Well, there you go. Why are you doing homework now? I slid the book from out of my bag over to him.

"I got bored. Now, let's go to your room for the therapy session!" He yelled, his voice slightly echoing throughout the kitchen. He got up, threw his bag over his shoulder, and ran upstairs. I sighed loudly. He doesn't even know where my room is.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Miles was acting like a complete idiot when I got to him. He was running around, checking out the house, "Dude. I don't get it. It's so homey, but big at the same time." He said, throwing open the last door. Oh, goddammit, Miles! CAN'T YOU WAIT? I swear, you're like an annoying... younger... brother.

Umm, ignore my outburst.

I entered behind him, dusting off any crumbs off my hands on my jeans. Miles was doing another three-sixty and when he saw my bed, he dashed for the Kermit toy, dressed as a pirate. Shit, Miles! Don't touch those toys, they're delicate! I rushed over and grabbed Kieran's toy from his filthy hands. I clutch the toy closely to me and glowered at him, a growl came out of my mouth after I did so.

"Whoa. I didn't think you still play with toys. Or you'd still keep them, even though we're seniors. What's with that attitude? I really do not like how you are staring at me." Miles said, taking a small step back. I groaned at my protectiveness over the toys on my bed. I dropped on the bed, playing with the burnt toy. Kermit's face had a dark patch, and his leg has fallen off. Mom sew the green clothing together for me, out of pity. His arm's cloth was a darker green, but wasn't so badly burned that it came of. I have his stuffed birds and Mr. Nom Nom, as he called it. None of the birds were as damaged as Mr. Nom or Kermit.

Mr. Nom had no legs. It was only the body and arms. I really liked playing with it when we were younger, it was fun. The doll was half owned by me, and Kermit was Kieran's. Ah. Good ol times. I wish I still had those fun moments.

"So, let's start with Kermit and," He pointed to Mr. Nom, "And that." He said as he sat next to me and handed me my book. I didn't want to tell the beginning of the story, so I just wrote,
