Chapter five

   My head is throbbing as Aidan walks me back to my dorm. "Thanks." I say, and groan as my stomach rumbles. "I'll just go lay down."
"What were you guys fighting about?" Aidan asks, concern in his green eyes. He flips his hair out of his face. "I-" I pause. "I don't know. We're both a little hungover." I shut the door in his face stumble to my bed, regretting fighting with Elise. My heart pounds in my chest as I fall into a tired slumber, watching as my pale blue pillow molds with my head.
          "Peyton."
I sneeze loudly and look up, startled at the sound of a voice. "Oh hey, Blake. Looking for Elise?" I stand up, facing the Amber eyed twenty year old.
"No- actually, I was looking for you."
"Why me?" My head pounds with a million scenarios. Please do not kiss me.
"Well, I know it's both of your birthdays soon, I just wanted you to maybe spy on her a little. Find out what she likes. I'm planning a surprise party for her."
"Oh, of course." I say with anger swelling in my heart. Where is my party? How does she deserve one over me? I clench my fists and show Blake out. "Thanks-"
I slam the door before he finishes his sentence.
