I hum quietly to myself as I pull my black hair back in a sloppy bun.
"What are you doing?" Peyton asks, not looking up from her phone as I open the door to my messy closet.
"Getting ready," I answer, grabbing a gray sweater of it's hanger and a light teal scarf with it.
"For?"
"Karaoke night!" I say, pumping a fist in the air. Peyton looks up from her phone, one eyebrow raised.
"Oh god," She mumbles.
"You better get ready too. You're coming with me." I announce, grabbing a pair of socks and black leggings.
"Haha." Says Peyton as she furrows her brow. I look at her, the corners of my mouth going up in a grin.
"Elise!" I laugh and dance out of the room Into the bathroom to change.
When I come out, I throw the close I was previously wearing into a bag that I use for dirty laundry. Peyton is looking in the mirror, doing her hair.
Today, I feel like eye makeup.
So I grab my makeup bag and dig around for what I need, which is:
Liquid eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara. That's it. I don't want to over do it. I walk into the bathroom. I'll be using that one because Peyton is hogging the other one. I grab my eyeshadow pallet and apply the most natural looking color I have to both my eyes. Setting it aside, I grab the black eyeliner. What do I want to do with this. Winged eyeliner. Yes. Not those thick lines, but the thin, pretty ones. Keeping that in mind, I draw on the 'wings.' When I finish, I out the liquid eyeliner back in my makeup bag with the eyeshadow.
I brush on a small amount of mascara and look in the mirror. Nailed it.
I think to myself as I grab my mascara and put it in the bag.
