I stand in the nearly empty parking lot, panting as I watch Peyton drive away. "How the hell did you get my car keys!?" I shout, but she can't hear me. That was... Unexpected. I fish my phone out of my pocket and scroll through my contacts. I tap Blake and hold the phone to my ear, pacing.
"Hello?" I stop pacing.
"Hey." I say, biting my lip.
"What's up?"
"I need a ride,"
"Why?" Blake asks. "I'll tell you later. Can you just come get me?" Blake sighs. "Sure. Where are you?"
"Spacers. I'm in the parking lot." I answer. "Ok. I'll be there soon."
"Thank you." I mumble. "No problem."
"Bye." I pull the phone from my ear and hang up. As said, Blake arrives in a few minutes and I fast walk to the curb. He unlocks the doors, I open it and slide into the passengers seat.
"Thanks again," I say, shutting the door. He shrugs and pulls away from the curb. "So why'd you need a ride? I thought you went with Peyton?" Blake asks, one hand on the steering wheel, the other running through his hair.
I slowly nod and say. "Yeah. She did. But then she left."
"Why?" I tilt my head slightly and frown. "I don't really know." I say quietly. Blake nods and pulls into the campus parking lot. He unlocks the doors and we both get out. The dark makes a clicking sound as he locks them again and we walk across the campus lawn. "Do you wanna just stay with me tonight?" He asks, looking at me. "Is Aidan there?" I'm not staying if he is. "No." Blake answers, shaking his head slightly. "Mmkay." I say as Blake drapes his arm over my shoulders.
