Lyde and I met briefly for a few minutes that day to carryout parts of our assignment. We read books about wolves and wrote down some quick facts in our notes. After that, we headed our separate ways. On the same day, I was unable to tutor Spencer, as Kylo had an accident, Daisy, Stacey and I all had been crying for our friend. When news broke she was fine, a sense of relief washed over all of us, thank goodness. Something, had attacked her late at night while we were all asleep. My aunty Kera, bolted her doggy door so she wouldn't go out late again, the vet excused the attack on her as another stray. Luckily, she wasn't too badly injured so she would be back to normal in no time. On the way, during the time of us all taking turns nursing Kylo back to health, keeping up with chores at home and completing homework away from school while we got things back to normal. I also kept in touch with dad, touching base with him and letting him know what I was up to, same with me wanting to know how everything was and if he had heard from my close friends yet...Anyway, I managed to get some part-time working at the café, it did however make things awkward when working with Spencer, his sister and his cousin. Both of the girls barely spoke to me and practically just ignored me whenever I helped out. A few times I tried to speak to Spencer but the café just seemed to get busy it he seemed to get busy for some reason.
Anyway, I quickly noted in my journal to catch up with Lyde about the notes I found for our topic and apologies to Spencer for missing his first tutoring class.
- The next day -
Everyone was up and dressed in their uniforms, my hair was a dishevelled mess and my head felt as if it was just hit by something rather hard or rather annoying, might I add.
"Good morning", said my aunty,
"Good morning", I replied
The smell of delicious pancakes woke up my senses, before I was drenched in slobbery kisses by a big fluffy fur ball.
"Well, good morning to you too girl", I said giving her pats,
"Oh my god !, girl you need a fix me upper and pronto", said Daisy,
"Could I eat first" I groaned
"Nope" she replied
"We will get breakfast on the way there, this calls for an girl emergency"
With the thought of getting breakfast to go, who could refuse such a kind offer
"Well let's go Lili chilly", as she half motioned to me with her eyes to her friend Stacey, to come with us.
"Oh sorry, coming ! I was just about to settle on some hot cakes", a half complaining Stacey said while getting up from her seat,
"Our girl needs us", replied Daisy,
"Wait, what am I needing?" I asked confused,
"your uniform silly, I know we didn't get a chance to do it yesterday. But you can only get your uniform once they do a fitting for you. Everyone's uniform in this town is tailored",
